Canada, or rather, unfortunately for me, being an Anglophone, Quebec! Which is apparently an awesome place if you're vacationing, but being born English in this province? Yikes.

Yorkshire, the one true home of pies and beer and mad Viking pride! Specifically, the city of York, where I attend university.

...that's the British York, not the Toronto one (although we do get the option to go there as part of an exchange).

I grew up in Birmingham, in the Midlands (which is a miserable grey shithole and is where my Dad's Brummie family live) and I've lived half my life in County Durham (which is a beautiful green paradise where my mother's Scottish family live) so I've pretty much fluctuated between the middle of England, the north of England and a halfway point between them.

Buffalo, NY in the USA. Where Canada has done a hell of a lot more to help the people of western NY than the state government.

Wait people live out there, Cuomo made it seem that the only populated parts of New York were the Capital Region (where I'm from) and The City.

The middle of Iowa, in the middle of the midwest, in the middle of the united states. So pretty much the exact middle of nowhere.

...not by choice do i live here...

We have a joke we like to tell around here. There are two things you can do in Buffalo.

Eat, and leave.

Ontario, Canada, home to Toronto, Ottawa, Parliament and Niagara Falls (the good side anyway). I live in a suburb near Toronto. Kind of boring, but safe. Nothing amazing ever happens here. Everything is ordinary.

Edit: Oh, also, it seems like everyone outside Ontario hates us for some reason.

Adelaide, Australia. It's rather boring here so after I work over in England for a bit I want to move to Perth over in the West.

(Regarding Alexa) I've quoted this before, but their description of this community gets it so so right that it needs to be posted again:

Based on internet averages, escapistmagazine.com is visited more frequently by males who are in the age range 18-24, have no children, received some college education and browse this site from school.
Huh. Well, I've never claimed to be average, so I guess being older, more educated, and visiting from the comfort of home makes me above average. Or maybe just different...

Back in the land of topic, one more Canadian adding his mark to the pile, although I did once live in the burning sands of Florida. I escaped with minor scarring.
