I fluctuate between Birmingham, England, and my home county of Shropshire in England.

One is a city full of grim accents, big shops, canals and seemingly precious little else. The latter is a luscious land of cows, farmers, hills, trees and greenness.

Guess which I prefer...
You forgot the blight on the county that is Telford (as home towns go, it's not the one I would have picked).

Yeah, another English guy here, drinking tea as I type this.

USA and more specifically Washington. No, not DC. The state Washington. You know the one, it has Seattle, rain, and not much else.

According to that site 1.1% of users are in México, which is about the same as Irelan, and I've seen a LOT of Irish people, yet I only ever met one person besides me that lived in México, I've met a lot of Mexican users that live on the US though.
Alexa only measures internet traffic, not individual website membership and activity.

All it means is that 1.1% of visits to www.escapistmagazine.com are made from México, but not how many of those actually stay on the site and participate in the forums.
I guess that means Mexicans aren't nearly as talkative as the Irish.

Damn fucking straight its not Washington DC. Whats even worse is living in a city called Vancouver, and being mistaken for a Canadian as well as being mistaken for someone from DC if I just say I'm from Washington.

I live in Vancouver, Washington which was actually the original Vancouver, named after Fort Vancouver which was a fort built as a trading post by the Hudson's Bay Trading Company. Then those filthy Syrup Suckers stole the name and that city became more globally know.

New Zealand, somewhere in the Waikato.

Currently under drought conditions that's turned most of the province brown, including Hobbiton.

U.S.A Rhode Island. My little slightly icy post stamp of a state that is nearly as corrupt as the federal government. It's why I've always scoffed when people told me that more things should be done on the state level because it's less corrupt.

Well, slight political deviation aside, I like this little place because it's got awesome beaches and I don't need to worry too much about getting stabbed even walking downtown at night.

In Argentina, so "other". I think there's like four of us in the site, no point wasting a poll option on Argentina. Don't know about South America though.

Make that two of us from Argentina. Come on guys, I know the other two of you are out there somewhere!
Well I'm here. Wasn't there a guy with the word "argentinian" in the name, too?

Either way, THIRD.

Canada, or rather, unfortunately for me, being an Anglophone, Quebec! Which is apparently an awesome place if you're vacationing, but being born English in this province? Yikes.
Yikes, I wished Quebec was more English friendly.
I assume you're living in Montreal which makes things a bit more manageable, if you aren't then I can see why we're a pain in the ass sometime. Have you taken French course (or planing to) or you're planing to move out of the province ? :)

OT: Canada, Quebec and yes I have been raised entirely in French. So yeah I'm ''one of those'' that the rest of Canada likes to make jokes about us. ;)

My French is decent. I do live in Montreal, which is likely why I'm still sane. I've plenty of French friends, Hell, most of the girls I've gone out with were French. It tends to be the older generations who growl at me. I work at a videostore and we get all sorts in there, and regardless of how solid my French is, it takes just one self-righteous person hearing my accent, or me stuttering to set some people off. Like, forgive me for being born here.

But whatever. I do love my city, I just don't think I'm sticking around once I graduate, or get a job somewhere else.
