Buffalo, NY in the USA. Where Canada has done a hell of a lot more to help the people of western NY than the state government.
Wait people live out there, Cuomo made it seem that the only populated parts of New York were the Capital Region (where I'm from) and The City.
...not by choice do i live here...

We have a joke we like to tell around here. There are two things you can do in Buffalo.

Eat, and leave.
That joke applies to my entire state- I'm a resident of Columbus, Ohio, which as a native Ohioan who has scarcely lived anywhere else, is pretty spiffy. The only thing a tourist might like here is Cedar Point, and that's so far out of the way that only people in neighboring states go there, no farther.
well s#$@

Columbus was one of the areas i was interested in moving to. I pass through it all the time and it looks pretty nice (and is the only city on my trip from NY to alabama with decent radio stations)

Ive been to Cedar Point as well, beats our amusement park. Had a 3 days vacation there, best 120 dollars i ever spent (that included tickets, rooms, and food)

One of the smallest and dumbest states in the union, South Carolina. I'm convinced my brother and I aren't originally from here because things are just so ass-backwards here it baffles me.

I've always felt out of place, but haven't had the chance to leave yet. One day though.

One day.

The US of A, where the men bleed red and the beer is sub-par!

North Carolina, to be exact; we're the hipster South!

O',beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain;
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood,
From sea to shining sea.

We're a blue state now! It's only a matter of time until Texas tries to consume us D:[br]

'Merica! Where all white folks started their journey to completely eradicate the Indians (or Native Americans, w/e) from the remaining land we hadn't already eradicated them from, or to be more precise St. Louis, Missouri!

Oh, also that place in all of Mark Twain's books n shiz.

From Texas here. Naturally I divide my time between being a religious fanatic and oppressing gays and brown people.

Seriously though I'm from Arlington, one of several cities that makes up the sprawling Dallas/ Ft. Worth area.

I don't even have an accent.

What, Norway is still not a separate option?! Scandalous!
(I am obviously kidding, I was surprised to even see Scandinavia as an option...)

Also, why the heck Scandinavia has it's own option?
And now I'll show how geographically dumb I am by asking where on Earth is Scandinavia:
Where on Earth is Scandinavia?!?!
Scandinavia is in Northern Europe, consisting mainly of Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Scandinavian countries also include Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands as well if Population wise, but I'm not sure if there included in Scandinavia as a whole. I do think that Greenland is technically a part of North America though.
Actually, Scandinavia is only Norway, Sweden and Denmark, what you described are the Nordic countries.
You know I was actually thinking, wait is Finland part of Scandinavia or is it one of the Nordic countries, but I just kind of went with it. You'd think having such a close history with Sweden would entitle you to be associated with the other Scandinavian countries but there you go.

Wait, A Missourian?! *Gets all the guns pointed at your state* YOU TRIED TO RUIN MY KANSAS HOME, YOU SUM'*****!! (Obligitory Bleeding Kansas) Nothing will ever make me leave here, and I love it her with all my heart.

EDIT: *disarms the guns* On second thought, there are too few of us Midwesterners on here. I propose we bury the hatchet right here and now. Dont worry, its not like I have a gun hidden in my boot and another hidden in my armpit. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SuspiciouslySpecificDenial]

Sydney Australia.

Horrible place makes the constant spitting of the rain in Europe look exciting.
I plan on heading to Melbourne next year. Should be considerably nicer.

The grey highlighted countries are Scandinavian. Technically only Norway, Sweden and Denmark are Scandinavian countries, but people usually include Finland and Iceland too.

In my fight against "the man" who decided to put most of Europe in other europe and the americas africa and asia in other I forgot to mention I'm in Brazil.

I dig my geography, also what part of Brazil do you live in, just out of curiosity? Is it Manaus, that would be really cool!
Really cool why? It's in the middle of nowhere! NOWHERE I tell you! And the middle of nowhere in Brazil is much worse than the middle of nowhere in most other places that are not war-torn.

Canadian here. The province of Saskatchewan to be precise. And by the looks of it, so far I'm the only Sask-dweller here...Kinda depressing.

I live in Birmingham, England. Everything is reasonably priced, there are loads of different things to do and masses of jobs. Alternatively it could be viewed as a concrete dystopia peopled by devolved remnants of the industrial revolution, but then I really like concrete so it suits me.

Yeah when I made the poll that's what I thought it was. I was surprised when I hear Finland wasn't technically in Scandinavia.

your poll is pretty garbage. no asia? no middle east? shit you even missed south america and africa. also for future reference you can group australia and NZ into what is known as "oceania", it includes a bunch more countries that you again left out.
your poll reads to me like "hey white people!!! what white country do you live in?"

capture: now look here
damn right. you got told son!

For this poll to work you have to divide pretty much every single continent into smaller geographical regions. However when it comes to representing,it's obvious that the majority would be 'Muricans on an 'Merican forum followed to the other native English speakers- The British. Afterwards I guess it's their friendly neighbors the Scandinavians(Norway+Sweden)? Because it is well known that England and France are always at war. Germany and Italy are the other big shots, but it's obvious that they're poorly represented here.
And all this from a clueless guy in the Balkans who opens his mouth before truly understanding the situation.

So, you put UK, Scandinavia and "Other Europe" (which I don't even know what that means or what country they are referencing) and why isn't a Europe option boggles my mind. Discrimination I say! =P (just joking).

With that said, I hail from East Europe from a country called Romania.
I can relate :D
I'm in a country south of Romania, also ends with -ia, because it's also Slavic.
I live in a village, nothing exciting really. It's near the so-called "old capital" of the country. I just like a certain sense of anonymity on the internet.
