It seriously pisses me off when Americans just say the name of their state and don't actually say the country they live in. Sheer arrogance if you ask me. Like the rest of the world should be expected to remember all 50 of your stupid states!

OT: AUSTRALIA! and I live in a medium sized town that is a satellite suburb of Melbourne.
When you consider that American states are the size of Europe's countries, you probably should. I'm also Australian, in Cairns.

A city in Yorkshire, which feels like a small town. And has my university in it. It's perfect, really. :D

I say this because people in Canada keep on getting Yukon mixxed up as Alaska,
Really? I know that Yukon is in Canada, east of Alaska. Which Canadian people have you been talking to?

and everyone in America keeps thinking that either Alaska is Canadian or Yukon is American, cheeky bastards i say.
This I have encountered. Those yanks need to stop calling us their hat as well...

[sub][sub][sub]and I will continue to keep calling them yanks until they stop >:D[/sub][/sub][/sub]
Tourist can really be dumb sometimes. -.- Even Canadian Tourists have their blonde moments, sadly that is most of the time. And you wouldn't believe how many people don't know that Yukon even exists, lol xD.

Indiana.

Last time we had this thread, I was made aware that we can't even be the 'corn state.' Indiana sucks...

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I don't really care if people know what city/town I live in because even if they do find me, they'll never get inside my apartment (the doors are reinforced with concrete). Also, why would anyone want to find me? I'd be a very boring person to stalk.

I guess that already answers the magical disappearing poll... it's a medium sized city, nothing more.

London, England, joint financial center of the world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London

Having lived in small cities (Perth, WA and Atlanta, GA,USA, and Carlisle,UK), I'll never go back. The countryside is fine and all that to visit, but I couldn't live there. Only cities a similar scale would tempt me to move, and none of them are in Europe

Here in Finland my place is a Small Town, we got some Americans playing football here and they come from "small towns" which according to them is a place with about 100 000 people, my small town has 15 000. That explains something on how people view things. So even if you guys think it's "isolated" or a village I still say small town!!!

Sydney. City, four and a half million, largest in Oz. Good place to live.

I live in Haberfield, nice suburb but there are no pubs. Thankfully Leichhardt, a short distance away, has an abundance of pubs.
