Elsweyr. Yay kitties!

Though the Black Marsh would also be a cool place, just from the way it's described and the fact I love beast races. You could have the story be like a new plague that also affects the Argonians so they accept the outsiders help to look for a cure or something. I don't know if they would go with all the lore though, I just know the basics. Then they can just copy paste Skyrims factions of welcoming outsiders but having to give up a few traditions or being xenophobic dicks (guess which I chose lol).

Black Marsh. If it's anything like a real marsh, it'll be dark, resembling a jungle, and foggy. I'm not sure why, but I like those kind of settings in RPGs. Especially in first-person ones, as they usually have a stealth/horror aspect to them. I got startled quite easily in Oblivion - from the dickhead bandits that shocked you by shooting you in the back to those annoying as fuck Deadric mages.

I think Black Marsh would be good. I mean, we see little of Argonians, and a game set there seems like it would have an interesting story and would be aesthetically pleasing.

Elsweyr would be my second choice. Just like the Argonians, we don't see much of Khajiit and they're an interesting race with a variety of species. I just want something totally new.

Also the Elves have no winning because Lorkhan, Akatosh, Sithis, and Talos, are working against them.
Hold up, I thought Sithis was neither Divine nor Daedra, and that he was pretty much unconcerned with the politics of either of those factions or the mortal realm, for that matter.

On a side note, I would be down with a complete overhaul and remake of Daggerfall, nothing like hearing "VENGEANCE" in the sky while roaming around the city at night.
Seriously; The first time I heard that booming, disembodied voice I actually jumped in my seat. Admittedly, I was a little kid at the time, but I think it would have a similar effect today. I'm not sure if I would really want a remake, though. A lot of the stuff I liked about Daggerfall (the size and scope of the game world, all the different kingdoms, being able to climb walls, the character creation system, nudity) all seem to have been phased out of modern Elder Scrolls games. I think I'd rather have them create a new game, although I would like them to include feuding factions, so in that respect, the Illiac bay region would be ideal, especially if they allowed you to sail around in the bay in your own ship.

summerset island! we can be a prisoner and when we are freed by the rebellion/empire/thalmor we can choose a side and decide to defend summerset island against the empire or help the rebellion or help the thalmor get the rebels and the empire! we have war, rebellion, and a lot of dick elves to kill!

actually Sithis (or Padomay) is the representation of the one primordial state of chaos. we can say he is like the father of daedras.

I'm torn between Elsweyr, Black Marsh and Valenwood. Each could be very interesting. On a side note: I'm currently downloading Dawnguard. I had to use GameStop to buy it, since it's not available on Steam in my country. Pretty irritating.

Why would anyone want to help the Thalmor? =P

Have I already posted in this thread? Hmm I guess not.
Welp, on to the topic then. Valenwood might be good if they?re going to continue with the Thalmor(a rebellion maybe?) and it sounds like an Interesting place. There is also Summerset Isle for that but I?m not sure if lore wise you get races other than high elves there. If they are controlled by the Thalmor I would assume not.
Also Elsweyr because the Khajiit are awesome. Black marsh could also be awesome for sheer WTF-ery.

Definitely Akavir.

Simply because it would require everything to be very different from the rest of the Elder Scrolls games.

Plus it would introduce new races

Vampire snakemen
Monkey folk
Tiger-men, probably like Kajiit but not sure
Snow demons who thaw every summer.

If your character is a High Elf you might.
I'm currently playing a High Elf in Skyrim, and I wish I could join the Dominion :/
for RP purposes. Cause I don't usually play RPGs as a racist jerk, and Nord was too obvious.

Sure, but the way that race treated you in Skyrim, no matter what side you took, why would you side with them, if you want to side with elves, side with ones that can make the sun rain fire upon the land. (Moon elves imbue your arrows on the DLC, shoot the sun with them and watch things catch fire. its fun)
