Sorry, most girls that use the net do so to check what their boyfriends are up to on myspace/facebook etc. or to flick their bean over some painfully shite Anne Rice/Twilight fan-fiction.

If you want some genuine advice on meeting gamer girls however, just check out your local video game shop with a pocket full of roses, a smile and your mum happily left at home.

much as i'd love to argue it that statement does hold true for most girls. Despite my current avatar, which will probably change within the next week or two, i don't do that. I use the net to look up video game news and chat with friends overseas.

...Oh. I was going to say, MMOs are a great place to meet those of the female persuasion.
Not to stereotype, but I've met a bunch of nice girls over WoW, some of which have become my good friends, and one of whom is my absolute best friend.

back when i played WoW i got a week of no strings attached sex with a hot gamer girl after finding out she lived five minutes away from where i was staying on holiday.

just go wherever gamers go. conventions, net cafes, etc.
im thinking about getting a job at a video game shop to as an attempt to meet chicks.
i havnt met a single chick as a game designer or a mech engineer so if you want to find a chick on the job, these probably arent the jobs for you.

I prefer to actually develop relationships (romantic and otherwise) because I find it much more appealing than just casual sex, but whatever works for you.

Wow, this post went off the rails pretty fast. NO WONDER SO MANY gamers are slammed by girls... A lot of you out here are bitter and angry toward all women. Come on guys... There must be SOME nice intelligent girls who happen to be gamers and they MUST go meet up SOMEWHERE to game like me and my friends.

Saying no girls like games is like saying all guys like football.

What I'm looking for here is a chance to meet A GROUP of people who enjoy games and hopefuly in that group might be some girl.
