I love how the thread has wandered off-topic and into flame war territory. If you honestly have nothing better to post than "I don't like any of the games", "None", "Where's the 'None' option?" or a similar post implying the Wii sucks, then don't post on this thread.

Did you see the "Nintendo is doomed" topic a little bit back? The initial poster's logic was incredibly flawed, and yet the topic got 10 pages of posts. It wasn't even locked at any point.

Says quite a bit about the Escapist user demographic, doesn't it?

Yeah, basing your entire argument on a single month of second-place sales doesn't make a very stable debate.

An interesting tidbit: Nintendo is back in first, thanks to their recent pricedrop.

Also says quite a bit about brand loyalists and the intelligence level of mob mentality (which I do believe Yatzee has had a few words on).

Me personally, I want Sony to fail on this front because they make 80% of DVDs and own everything else and if they won another console war the prices would go through the roof. However, because I'm a sane, rational person, I know that Sony has proven at least once (PS2) that they can build a badass system and until this generation had a pretty good business model, so I'm not going to piss on the PS3 parade.

They still gave us the finger with that initial price tag, though. Fuckin' fascists.

No More Heroes 2. Even though I'm kinda disappointed that the game is going to lose some of its humor, which I really liked, I'm still looking forward to it, and its 50 bosses, of course there aren't going to be 50 bossfights, but you're still going to fight with 50 bosses.

Please explain this.

There are going to be bossfights where bosses team up against you, so all in all there are going to be 50 bosses, but less bossfights, hope that makes sense.

Well, I can't seem to find it, but I remember reading that the minigames in No More Heroes 2 will be 2D and in 8-bit.

SMG2. The first one was fantastic, even though it took me a while to realize it: I first got the game during the winter when it was released, sped through it and beat Bowser, and found it relatively annoying. But that was because I was playing it to get through the game, not to genuinely have fun. Once I came back to it with the right mentality, I loved it.

Honorable mentions: Wii Zelda, though I bet that's going to be 2011, Metroid Other M, though I've never been too huge a fan of the Metroid Series (I really need to get the Metroid Prime Trilogy), and Epic Mickey, but I don't know enough about it.

Also I'm going to check out this Lost in Shadow now, so your ploy has worked.

I'd say Zelda or Mario.

I'm not really interested in the Metroid. Primes were great, but isn't there 3rd person view in Other M? Or is there 1st AND 3rd person view? The Primes' did a great job in introducing the franchise to 3D.

From the trailer, I'd say both. It looks to consist mainly of action in 2D planes with 3D graphics, which is kind of disappointing, but there are clearly scenes in the movie where Samus switches to 1st person to aim.

However, we really have no idea how far along the actual game is; it may change dramatically before release.
