I'd like to see more of Jonathan Crane, the Scarecrow. Now they've finally managed to give him a decent costume at long last, it's time they use his potential as a super-villain. I've yet to see him in any incarnation in the new 52. He has more potential to cause havoc and destruction than the Joker and hasn't been overused as much.

The, I think, 3 episodes of Batman: The Animated Series featuring ClayFace are the greatest episodes of the series.

The first was an origin story, the 2nd where he learns how to press himself into a sustainable shape and the really weird 3rd one where he creates a human girl out of clay who doesn't know she's not real!

Clayface. I've yet to see a comic with a great story involving Clayface.
Which one? All the Preston Payne Clayface stories are fried gold. Particularly the Alan Moore one where Clayface is living in a department store and having a relationship with Helena the manequin.

Of course my favorites are Deadshot and Dr Amanda Waller. That just comes of being a Suicide Squad fan.

I always liked the riddler character.

But I suppose a relatively physically weak braniac wasn't that enticing in the latest batman movies :/
The Riddler was great in Sirens I think he makes a really fun side character more than a villain personally. I like Ivy a lot but that is just cause depending on who does her she is super sexy :p. I really hate what they did to Harley she used to be such fun interesting character who brought a certain amount of ease to sometimes otherwise incredibly tense stories without ruining the mood.

Honestly I think I will just read Sirens again XD

Ivy: Hot and interesting
Catwoman: Super omfg sexy and sets up for interesting character interactions.
Harley: Fun interesting and sets up fun character interaction.

All together they make for a fun dysfunctional family type story... I miss them :(

The Ventriloquist. He was the best thing in the Knightfall storyline... Nolan should be using him instead of Bane :)

Scarecrow and the Riddler are my two favorite villains. Scarecrow with Sinestro Corps ring has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Arkham city Riddler... Like! Other then those two.... Proffesor Pyg, Mad Hatter, and The Sirens (Catwoman, Ivy, Harley).

Egghead, the man with in ensamble craving for eggs and tried to sew Batman to a mattress, I don't think this guy has been in anything other then the 60s Batman show.

And Clock King he was pretty Bad Ass in the animated series.

I'd say Scarecrow and Riddler. There so many Batman villains that DC could take adventage of and make a good animated movie about them (Black Mask, Great White Shark, Mr.Freeze so on and so on) but no, it's always about The Joker. No, don't get me wrong...The Joker is cool but since The Dark Knight...the guy is EVERYWHERE. Im fucking sick of him doing is usual shtick (i.e. killing somebody, laughing, getting caught by Batman and inevitably escaping).

I'm gonna agree with Lord Jeff and say that Clock King was pretty neat, and desperately needs to be masterminding complex heists that can be completed in under five minutes.

That being said, my favorite Batman villain was and still is Mr. Freeze, starting with the Animated Series incarnation. They took a one-note petty crook with a fancy gimmick from the old comics and turned him into a complex relatable person whose motivations and backstory codified the Anti-Villain and questioned the very nature of morality itself. He was a villain motivated by love and hope to contrast Batman's hero motivated by pain and revenge.

Not bad for a Nineties kid's cartoon. Hell, I think they could do a viable live-action Freeze, Arnold's performance notwithstanding. Just think about this, and I'm gonna throw it out there, ready boys and girls?

Patrick Stewart.

I fully agree with what you said there, or how about Liam Neeson (Yes he did a good Ras Al Gul, but 'come on...)

The Riddler I'd say. He has all the hallmarks of a serial killer who wants to be caught. A dark murder-thriller would be really easy to write with him as the villain.

That would fit the new gritty Batman very well.

Its sort of weird that the poll has pairings.

For example I voted for Hush, which is a phenomenal villain if utilized, but that puts it with Killer Croc who is pretty ho hum.

Seriously Hush should have been the main in new nolan film as it was a perfect fit and a perfect followup to the Joker.

I would love to see Harley Quinn in a Batman movie, that would be awesome.

Yes it would mean more Joker, but the interaction between the two would be cool to see in a movie and not just in the games and the animated series.
Same. My question would be is whether or not they put her in one of her new, Arkham Asylum/Arkham City costumes, or her classic animated series costume? Personally, I'd prefer the skintight latex myself. But, that's just me.

I like her classic costume better, but that's just my nostalgia talking.

It would be cool though if she teamed up with Poison Ivy like she did in the animated series, and only because when they did it there it was awesome and kinda made the Joker look like an amateur when doing schemes.
