I thought about this and I thought why do people get so tied up about this, the egg came first since the species that evolved into a chicken laid the egg there for the egg came first then the chicken came out of it.

I really dont care, this stupid question is, well, just stupid. i never really liked it but if i had to chose i'd say neither since the chicken can't be alive without the egg, and vice versa, it was evolution.

The egg defintely because animals don't evolve during life times. They do it by generations. So an animal that couldn't be classifed as a chicken as we know it laid an egg that hatched into the first real chicken.
