Wohoo! Assumption is correct!

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis!

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Level | Score
Purgatory | Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo | Low
Level 2 | High
Level 3 | Moderate
Level 4 | Moderate
Level 5 | High
Level 6 - The City of Dis | Very High
Level 7 | High
Level 8- the Malebolge | High
Level 9 - Cocytus | Moderate

to be honest i think mig biggest flaw and sin is that i get extremely jealous i matters of love, and affection.

not in a way that if eg. my friend was to go a befriend someone else, i would kill said third person.

but if my girlfriend is to tell someone else, regardless og what sex the person is, that what they're doing is cute or funny or something along those lines, it stings me for a few seconds.

Example given, me and my gf had broken up (5 days before i think) and she told me she really liked this other guy, and the self dscipline and moral power i had to force onto myself, to not go and bash that persons head in or get really (REALLY) mean vocally on my ex, really just drained me for all my energy for the rest of the day.

so is there a layer for jealousy?

btw the test said id go to Limbo but the only thing that said extreme was purgatory.
(rofl refreshed it and it said chances were higher for limbo)

I've always been a puragtory sort of guy: I believe in the Father, son and Holy ghost (and all derivitives or combinations thereof), I don't do roundheeled rolls in the hay, don't stuff myself on general principle, abjectly loath materialism of any kind, don't believe in violence of any sort (with the tentatively possible exception of psychological violence, and nonlethal self-defense, but that's a different question altogether), and despise liars and traitors more than any other type of person I can name.

If I was forced to pick, I might say 'Wrath', for aforementioned qualms on violence.

Interestingly enough, despite all that AND the fact that I live in deep Alabama, I wholeheartedly support Barack Obama and Objectivism (Marxism does in a pinch).
dear lord crap(I needed something else), that is the single most surprising thins I've heard all day.
What's so surprising? The notion of a (more or less) by-the-book Christian on the Escapist or the idea of one who isn't a right wing nutjob? Pardon me, but I really can't tell.
sorry, I should have been more clear. most by by-the-book Christians I know are right wing nutjobs who think that women are property, you should own two hundred different guns, and that Barrack Obama is some kind of evil alien from space trying to kill all of us. but it's good to hear from someone who is a big christian who isn't like that.

Does not compute.

How can you support Obama AND Objectivism, when Obama is a strong supporter of the "American" (read: Right-wing) version of Collectivism, which is what Marxism is derived from and the exact opposite of Objectivism.

Dante's Inferno is out now, and regardless of whether or not it's good, I'd just like to see where our loyal escapist members would burn when the day of reconing finally comes. For me, I'm probably going to Limbo for being an Atheist.
Why no sloth? that'd be the category I'm in

According to this quiz [http://www.4degreez.com/misc/dante-inferno-test.mv], I'm in the 6th level:

"Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis: You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and hair of serpents, dwell in this circle of Hell."

Sounds like my kinda place. Heaven for the weather, Hell for the company!
I took the quiz and got pergatory, but every level got a score of very low. I guess i am just a good guy.

I prefer the Randian philosophy of 'look out for yourself, F**k off government', but assuming a system of government must be involved in life's day-to-day workings, Marism seems like the optimal setup.

Does that make sense?

Kinda. I get what you're saying, it just seems a somewhat... hypocritical (I'm not sure on the right term here). You prefer having minimal/no government, but since there must be government, you want total government control.

It just seems oxymoronical/hypocritical/whatever-word-it-is-ical.

I share you're stance on the preferred method of government being none whatsoever, which is why the huge turnaround confuses me.

We are mostly lack of faith. I guess thats because GOD DOESN'T TALK WITH US. Am I right?
God talks to us, but only through his most loyal and trusted servants.
Ah...like that Son of Sam killer. That Black dog was God, wasn't it?

Your view seems rather short sighted, but if you can show me any proof, even a philosophical/theological understanding that surpasses the 'I don't know' that humans poses...perhaps I'll believe you. But unless God wanted about a billion different beliefs in himself, all waring against each other I can't see how what you say is true. But PLEASE prove me wrong.

Do you talk WITH God? Not to God, or hear God...talk with. Anything else but with...can't believe that's God and not just a voice in your own head. And besides, what is a true belief in God when faith stems from whats been taught by man? How is man then taught correctly when others are taught incorrectly. So many questions.

Well, it's simple as far as I see it: If the government is (unfortunately) there, it might as well do its job like it's bloody well supposed to-- which is to say 'control absolutely everything about itself and its people, much to the dimay of right-brained persons everywhere'.

...On second thought, maybe I prefer socialism.
