Poll: Which console to complement your PC?

Well my actual answer is my 3DS, but for the purposes of the poll I'm gonna have to choose PS4, although followed very closely by the Wii U. PS4 because of the exclusives that I can't get on PC and Wii U because of the originality of their library.

No console because their is no point. Consoles literally offer absolutely nothing over a PC at this point other than being able to put in a disc and play, but I prefer having all my games at the touch of a finger anyways so that means it has nothing. I mean, why would I want to fumble around with discs and shit, making sure everything is in its right case and that they never get scratched?

I'll stick to my PC regardless. A few exclusives are not worth the investment for any next gen console.

Most of the releases will still remain multiplat (hopefully) so everyone is winning then.

PS4, becuase most anything interesting out on Xbox comes out on 360 and WiiU has basically nothing anyway so whatever.

probably the wiiU, just because its a lot more unique and doesn't try to do all the things my PC can already do. plus, some of the exclusives do interest me.

Out of those, I said wii u because even though I strongly dislike it, at least it is doing something very different. Given the option though,, I would say take a handheld.

3DS/WiiU. Both actually offer something you can't get on a PC. Perhaps Sony will show something unique at E3, but as it stands right now, I'd say PC/WiiU is the best combination this gen.

I'm almost certain that I'll get a PS4. It looks like it's going to be a real successor to the PS2.

Well, the Wii U's out, due to my lack of interest in gimmicks, as well as the fact that I haven't cared about Nintendo since I was eight. And the Xbone? LOL, no. I wouldn't take one of those even if it was free. So, out of the major consoles, I guess the PS4 wins by virtue of being the least objectionable of the three. (I've already got my Ouya preordered, by the way. So there's that, too.)

I voted for the Wii U because I've got one. I think I will get a PS4 eventually.

Also, do we seriously need to start this console war? I thought we learned about 5 years of bickering about the Wii, PS3 and 360 that it was all just about justifying whichever you had with no real weight to it?

Wii U. Considering that the "next gen" consoles are based on PCs they have no reason not to have good ports of their games. And Nintendo has the best exclusives by far.

If I had to choose, I would say the WiiU.
Most important Xbone and PS4 games will also have a PC release while most of Nintendo's game will only appear of their own consoles.
Unless they are 3rd party titles that have a crossplatform release, in which case it could potentially also get released on PC.
Unless it's an EA game, in which case get it on the WiiU because it would mean you don't have to have Origin.

So you've got your PC, and you have the option of purchasing ONE (and only one) of the three next-gen consoles to complement your gaming experience. Which are you most likely to go for, and why?

Hey, where's the Steam Box or other PC linked type boxes?

90% of my favourite games are on my PC and I like the idea that I could play my Steam games on consoles and it frees the computer room up for my brother.

Also, I didn't include the Steam Box because it's just a PC, i.e. it won't have any games/gimmicks a PC won't (and we haven't heard much about it).

Well its not hypothetical that I HAVE switched to PC as my main gaming source, but every console would be my choice as a "compliment" to my PC as they will have exclusive games that I want to play.

Did you... just correct my spelling? With an incorrect spelling? Or are you claiming other consoles literally praise your PC?
