WiiU because the gamepad can do some unique things that my PC can't. As for the PS4 or Xbone, I can just hook a gamepad up to my computer. Hell, I already do that for a lot of games.

Ps4. In theory, I'll be able to stream it to my vita (at least from within my house). Since I already use my vita a lot more than my pc and ps3, it'll be useful. If I was purely a pc gamer and owned an expensive gaming rig and thus had no need to upgrade, then maybe Wii U. Its not too expensive and it might be worth the Nintendo games (if there were any)

I voted for the Wii U because I've got one. I think I will get a PS4 eventually.

Also, do we seriously need to start this console war? I thought we learned about 5 years of bickering about the Wii, PS3 and 360 that it was all just about justifying whichever you had with no real weight to it?

Yeah, this is falling on deaf ears, I need to stop trying to tear down a brick wall by blowing on it...
I agree. You either understand that people have their reasons for playing on a certain console or pc or you don't

At this point, I'd only consider the Wii U. I only got my PS3 because it was backwards compatible for two generations (and it was actually cheaper than even the shittiest of blu-ray players), making it a good compliment to my PC at the time.

Consoles literally offer absolutely nothing over a PC at this point other than being able to put in a disc and play,
Not even that if the rumours of mandatory installs are to be believed.

It sadly seems the only real advantage is going to be the cheaper initial outlay.

Hell, not really. I can build a very nice PC rig for $450 (thats with tax added in), and the next gen of consoles will cost just about the same I'm betting.

A PS4 or a WiiU for the exclusives. I already have a TV so I really don't need an XBOne.

None. The price isn't worth it. I'm considering getting a PS3 after the PS4 comes out and play some games I've been missing out on in the last few years.

Purely basing the decision on which console would complement my PC, I would probably go fro the Wii U. Nintendo games rarely get PC ports, while PS3/Xbox games do, so chances are I'd get a larger total amount of possible games with a PC + Wii U.

But I had a Wii and it literally gathered dust for however many years it's been since the first Super Mario Galaxy, so I'm wary.

Will probably just get a PS4 unless Sony gives me a reason not to.

Probably the PS4. Since getting the PS3, I haven't played with my Xbox 360 at all. Although that is more a symptom of "less time to game," than anything else.

I don't have any console but I would probably get some Nintendo handheld or PS since I really like JRPGs and there are none on PC.

I'm a Sony fan and as long as they don't screw us with DRM I will stick to an experience that I grew up loving. Besides the XBone is going to screw everyone, and you can always pick up a Nintendo console later for pretty low price. Why not go with Sony? They've done a good job so far, just gotta hope a bit.
