Poll: Which console will have better exclusive games in 2011: PS3 or 360?

From the look of it, I'm leaning towards PS3. The 360 has some nice ones in Gears of War 3 and other fine sports and shooters, but PS3 seems to have more variety, with LBP 2, Motorstorm, MLB The Show, Uncharted 3, and others.

Hmm I don't generally keep track of exclusives for the PS3 (not owning one and all) so of course I'm biased towards Xbox but I'm definitely looking forward to Gears of War 3.

My main money is with the big hitting multiplatformers.

Edit: A quick look at some websites and I think a lot of my exclusives are going to be because of XBLA... full of great priced gems.

The PS3 has Little Big Planet 2, a game that is by itself enough to get people buying a PS3 and nothing else.

Good one. I think Wii doesn't have any great multiplayer games that I want; I mean, Mario Kart is probably the only one. If I'm misinformed on any hidden gems, please let me know.

I think you have a point to some degree, but I'm sure you can at least rely on past experience playing previous games from the franchise; sequels usually stick to the same formula. After playing Pacific Rift, I'm sure Motorstorm: Apocalypse will be a good game.

Koretn 12, that's a decent list with MLB, Uncharted, and Motorstorm, but I have to admit, I am not at all into Japanese RPGs as I once was; not even Western RPGs either. RPGs are like a box of chocolates- you never know what you're going to get.

I think it is irrelevant. With each year exclusivity becomes more expensive and less viable. I'd say it'll be all but extinct in the next few years.

Well, yes you're right to some degree, but I guess for someone who games for a hobby, someone who likes a mix of shooters, action, adventure, and original titles, and wants long term value, I think it would be wise for me to consider which console has the best first party games and other third party exclusives.

I leave out Nintendo because their products, as good as they are to many people, just don't cater to my taste as much as it used to.

360 has very few exclusives coming out this year. ps3, on the other hand, has inFamous 2, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal, Ratchet and Clank, and the Last Guardian. I vote ps3, but when it comes to multiplatformers, I tend to play them on 360.

If multiplayer is a make-or-break priority when selecting games, then Wii probably isn't for you. That isn't the case for the vast majority of people who play video games.

I just buy everything on the 360 because I have no friends on the PS3... *sniff*
