Killing someone means no forced sodomy in during the six months I am in prison.
Though I hear that if you kill a woman you are more likely to get the "attention" of certain inmates with old fashioned views of the world so I will be accused of killing some random guy on the street.
Murder. Why? Because if they want you to fry for something you didn't do, you can at least get away with a bunch of other shit before you get sent down.
I say child abuse. I would have the least effect on my psichy. Or at least I would believe so. It wouldn't end up with someone I love getting murdered, and it wouldn't necessarily get me fired.
Something about this poll bothers me. Are we supposed to vote according to our own gender or if we'd rather be falsely accused of murdering, abusing, or frauding a woman/man?
Murder.
I mean, I get off, right? So now I just have this stigma hanging over my head that makes people wary of me.
Which means they will leave me alone. Which would be wonderful.
Child abuse would be the worst, because seriously. Child abuse.
Who the fuck wants to be accused of child abuse. Gross.
Fraud is okay, I guess. Kind of brings to mind a stuffy, weedy fellow with dollar-sign eyes, though.
Or a politician. Which is almost worse than child abuse.

Well, I would say the murder one but I don't want to have to lose someone important to me. I'm tempted to say the child abuse one, but that's just a horrible idea and my family knows I'm "not the best" with children already. And for fraud, it might be a little difficult to prove it wasn't me. Well, maybe more so than the other two.
Well either way you're fucked because all three will end up the same, go to jail, get out of jail, you are never looked upon the same way again you have a label now even though you didn't commit the crime. I suppose I would go with the Money fraud just because I think the use of money is stupid and is only there because people are so self centered they would never do anything to help out another person without a reward.
Well if I was accused of being a murderer or a child abuser, the public would see me in a very bad way and that would hang over me for the rest of my life, regardless if I really did it or not.
Sorry if I seem a little bit harsh, but: SCREW THE PUBLIC!
OT: Murder. Don't know why.... I mean I'm the kind of guy that hates fraud and child abuse a lot more than murder. I mean child abuse literally screws an innocent life, and those who are accused of fraud always get away with it(or at least in my country) +everyone knows they're bad people(at least here).
I mean if one was to suspect you of a bad thing here and it won't like affect your life, it would be murder.
The only bad thing about murder is that I'd lose my loved one...
But still I would be considered a criminal genius and everyone would consider it the most horrific and memorable crime of them all(if done properly)
I went for Child Abuse, because it's the thing I'm more likely to do? I suppose? I am in highschool and I'm 18, so I commit underage 'rape' often, screw it.
Murder, probably. I would never be in a situation for fraud, seeing has I have a hate for finances and math. And child abuse is a good way to get killed.
I'm not sure what to expect from this thread, I can see it going a few different ways, depending on how badly I have misjudged the scenarios. Anyway, without further ado, which of these crimes would you rather be falsely accused of?
You have come home to find your significant other lying in a puddle of blood just hours after the two of you have been arguing. The police are notified by a worried neighbour, and you are locked up. There is only a handful of circumstantial evidence against you, but there are no other suspects. After a 6 month fight in the courts, the real murderer is found and proven to be guilty, but not beyond all doubt.
You are caught in some nasty circumstances which lead you to be suspected in a child abuse case. As the child would not give evidence either way, the trial drags on for 6 months. Eventually the child confirms that it was someone else, and that person is prosecuted.
Using creative accountancy, your buisness partner has stolen billions from the company you started together. This company has become massive, and because of the stealing has had to declare bankruptcy. Thousands of jobs are lost, and the economy and millions of people suffer greatly because of the companies demise. Your partner denies your claims that you had nothing to do with it, but after six months of number crunching it is determined you cannot be charged.
So, which of these three would you rather be falsely accused of? Please mention why you'd rather be accused of one over another, and keep in mind that you wouldn't actually have commited the crimes. Just as a potential point of interest, I split the poll into genders.
Just to clarify the genders, vote for which gender you are rather than which you'd rather commit the crime against.
No project I'm afraid, I'm currently temping at a bank so I can afford to go back to Uni next year. I've had "crime on the brain" recently, and I've been watching a lot of crime stuff on the 4od archives and with my mother (she is very into crime drama). I got to thinking about what crimes would be more forgivable or acceptable, and so I picked Murder, Child Abuse and Fraud. I thought Fraud might not be as morally contemptible as the other two, and the poll seems to be showing that at the moment.
Since it's page 2, I think I can give my opinion now (I didn't want to influence anyone, however slight a possibility that may have been). I chose murder. I think the stigma of child abuse would linger longer even if you were proven innocent, and I wouldn't want a lot of people hating me for being greedy, or for being stupid enough to not realise billions were going missing.
