Majoras mask wins. I liked how big windwaker was, but twilight princess had more detail, but I loved the leaf. Coolest item.

Have to give to Wind Waker, since it was a more consistent game. Not that Twilight Princess was a bad game.

As foe graphic differences? Meh. Never had a problem with either games visual style.

Wind Waker, it wasn't a direct port of Ocarina of Time with crappy wiimote flailing. Although it was also on the Gamecube.

I like both games, but for story I go with Twilight Princess. Gameplay goes to Windwaker, if only because it isn't on Wii and doesn't have the ridiculous wiimote flailing. It's pretty comparable if you do it on the Gamecube, though. I genuinely like Twilight Princess better though.

Twilight Princess was my least favorite Zelda game, but WW also comes in 2nd in that department. So Wind Waker I guess.
Really? Least favorite? Have you ever played this monstrosity [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zelda_II:_The_Adventure_of_Link]?
Hey, I thought Zelda 2 was at least tolerable. It's nothing compared to these abominations. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-i_games_from_The_Legend_of_Zelda_series]

Are you kidding? That game's a work of art compared to the CD-i games. I watched the Angry Video Game Nerd review of those, I didn't know just watching them could be painful.
I don't know what you two are going on about. There were never any Zelda games on the CD-i.

What's that you say? Denial? I'm not in denial! Don't you think that I would know if I were in denial?

I don't get what everyone loves about Wind Waker. I mean, you spend hours just travelling places (moreso than most other Zelda game, at least). Plus I hated the graphics completely, but I know that's an opinion type thing. Twilight Princess was alright in places, but I'd prefer it if Midna had stayed sarcastic the whole way through. Plus it kept the BS music portions to a minimum (if you don't know what that means, go play Spirit Tracks).

So ya, Twilight Princess.

I would have to vote for Twilight Princess.

I liked bits of Wind Waker, it was pretty and had an interesting story. But fuck me, was it boring. The sailing around was for the most part one of the most tedious things I have ever had to do in a Zelda game, I've got a friend who would pretty much point the ship at an island in the distance, set it sailing and switch over to watch TV for 5 five minutes. And once you got to an island, most of the time the only thing to do there was cut the grass.

And this, I forgot about this. They cut 2 dungeons out of the game to rush it out and used this to try and pad out the game. It failed badly.

I only ever beat this game once, every other time I got bored and gave up halfway through.

Twilight Princess, while not perfect, I found to be far more enjoyable. I liked the story more, being a wolf was occasionally fun and I liked the twilight world, especially Hyrule Town where everyone is basically a green ghost running around I thought looked really nice. And there was actually stuff to do.

And it didn't have Zelda in the final battle with Gannon steal your light arrows in the vain hope of being useful and then proceed to shoot YOU with them because you didn't have your shield raised. Seriously, its cute that you want to help and all, but I've been doing this for a while now, I can fire my own arrows thanks.

I think they're both equally good for basically the same reason - both are very effective at establishing a mood and creating a unified aesthetic. Had a lot of fun with both.

I don't blame you for not being in denial.

Wind Waker was a million times better and truer to the franchise.

I just didn't get the same Zelda feeling playing TP. Although, turning into a shackled wolf was pretty sweet.

Twilight Princess hands down. I can't really say why, Windwaker had a good plot, but the cel shading influenced the tone of the story too much (which is darker than the tone it gave off, the king chose to drown hyrule) but the feel of TP is unforgettable to me, with a decent plot. Though the plot for WW was better, I was much more engaged in TP

El poll estuvo comido. Este sitio de web tiene muchos problemas tecnicas.

Yay, I feel proud for doing that myself. Three years of Spanish was worth something at least. ^_^

As someone who has been playing Zelda for over 20 years, and has played every Nintendo-released Zelda game all the way through, I have to say that Windwaker is my favorite.

Windwaker was a breathe of fresh air into the series formula, which, to me, is getting just a little stale.

Twilight Princess was good, and certainly the biggest and best Zelda game so far in terms of overall content. The story, however, was basically a mash-up of Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past and in terms of gameplay, Twilight Princess was essentially a bigger and better version of Ocarina of Time. Not that that is a BAD thing by ANY means, the game just didn't show any signs of innovation.

However, Windwaker stirred up the Zelda formula in terms of aesthetics, style, and storytelling, and that sort of innovation is what will keep the series fresh and relevant in years to come.

That being said, I've very much looking forward to Skyward Sword. I wouldn't be suprised if it became my new favorite.

So tough. So, so tough.

Twilight Princess was a bit more linear but for what people call an "OoT Clone," it felt so different from any Zelda I've ever played. It had such a unique melancholy to it that not even Majora's Mask can compare to it. Different from the accepted doom of Termina, the Twilight was like a slow-growing cancer sapping the life out of Hyrule and the world showed that so well. And the fact that the Hero of Time was just a machination for Midna's story made it feel so pleasantly not-about-me-fulfilling-some-prophecy. I'm currently playing that game again in preparation for Skyward Sword and I gotta say: Screw the haters. Twilight Princess owes no apologies. It's a badass, unique, highly compelling Zelda game that feels NOTHING like Ocarina of Time.

I think they fluctuate for various reasons. Catch me tomorrow and I might feel WW's charm more, but as of this post I say the black sheep, Twilight Princess, is better.

Wind Waker has maybe 40% of the loading screens of Twilight Princess, an amazing final boss monologue and fight, a crisp, fun and varied fighting system, Treasure Maps that predated the Arkham Asylum Riddler trophies by almost a decade, and MOLGERA'S THEME MUSIC. Chickachicka chickachicka chickachicka chickachicka chickachicka chickachicka chickachicka

Twilight Princess has loading screens up the ass, fighting arenas any time you fight at all, vast, expansive fields of nothing when you aren't, and some seriously lame bosses/mini-bosses. (Some. Not all. But too many.) That said, it also has an amusingly cynical baby taking over a fancy store and turning it into Wal-Mart... but still.

The former gets my vote, because graphics can suck it if the gameplay becomes less fun while they improve.
