I'm playing on the highest difficulty. I have three characters above 60-- a quintessential 'paladin,' wizard, and rogue.
My paladin hits for about 230 with his 2h mace. He also ignores 70% of armor, so there is little mitigating his mace. (Although min-maxers will say NPCs typically don't have armor, or have low armor, I've found that perk is the only way to increase my damage after a certain point of min-maxing.) He has a powerful restoration skill, so nothing harms him for long. I can literally wade into 8 enemies and shrug them off. He's also at the 80% physical mitigation cap.
He fears nothing.
My wizard has high level conjuration, illusion, alteration, and destruction. He can't kill things quickly, but between maintaining aggro with pets, and crowd-controlling everything with strong illusion spells, he's untouchable.
Stealth is OP as hell. I don't think I need to comment on its ease at a high level.
This game really isn't challenging-- I play it for the aesthetic, and the roleplay. If any enemy, I hate any and all Thalmor.
I'm a true Nord of Skyrim, and I hunt Thalmor religiously.
