Not only was it usually good music, it was part of the revue and a joke at the same time. I understand why it was stopped, but something was definately lost in the process.

Though I suppose the creators of these series would pefer us to appreciate their respective creations, I.E. the commentary of the Cutscene that Unskippable is watching, I believe that the most memorable music for a certain series would have to be Unforgotten Realms. Not for any certain aspect of the music, but more because of Robs humming of the song after the intial sequence is done. It reminds me of myself to a certain extent.

In the little caption at the end of one of the video, Yahtzee stated he didn't want to be ripping people off anymore (or words to that effect).
My guess is either he or The Escapist's editorial staff weren't comfortable with such a popular item using unpaid music samples, which is fair enough.
