Dart gun is the one I use the most, but my favourite moment in the game so far has been killing a sniper in a single shot by hitting him with a garden gnome from the Rock-it launcher. Shishkebab is also pretty sweet, but I usually end up setting dogmeat on fire as well as the enemy when I use it

Why are bottle cap mines so low? massive damage, and the schematics are easy to find... and with all 3 it makes three at a time. But the dart gun is amazing against death claws, and the poison is funny because ill shoot something i can out run and get xp 5 minutes later

Anyway, finally got myself my Deathclaw Gauntlet, thanks to Bannon. That also gave me the Weaponsmith achievement, so I celebrated by using it to clean up the remaining ghouls (and Mr Burke) from Tenpenny Tower. That'll teach 'em!
If you're like me, saved every container of Nuka Cola Quantum you found, and found all three schematics before building anything, Nuka Grenades are much better than a fat man- and more versatile, to say the least.
I love the deathclaw gauntlet because the Super Duper Mart can be manipulated to have a deathclaw encounter. This deathclaw does not have 100% health because of a dead scavenger near it.
While this encounter was intended for higher level players, and is probably fixed in some patch, the encounter gives you the deathclaw gauntlet schematic at level 2. The Super Duper Mart can be manipulated(random loot isn't set until you enter the cell) to have all items required for the weapon.
Of course, this depends on abusing game mechanics, and could be seen as cheating.

my vote goes for the nuka grenade its not worth actually making but if your lucky enough to pick one off a drop BAM!!!!!!!!! mother f***** it basically kills anything i attacked megaton to get the 300 kill achievment and i lured every one into the common house threw a nuka grenade and got easily 17, 18 kills including a fully healed lucas sims
Most useful would be the Shishkebab (alongside the Flamer), with the Pyromaniac perk it's easily the most powerful melee weapon in the game (unless I've missed something).
Favourites would be the Bottlecap Mines and Nuka Grenades. Anything that one-hits Deathclaws is useful.

Dart gun is the best it helped my slow down death claws yet i really don't need that much help to kill a death claw.
