My favorite was probably Point Lookout. Killing mutant hillbillies never gets old. :)
I didn't put Broken Steel on here because I know it was 80% of everyone's favorite.

I was hoping it was going to be Zeta but Point Lookout was the only one that really expanded Fallout 3 to the extent that Shivering Isles did for Oblivion.
Well... it wasn't that good but it was close.

You forgot The Pitt. Bah, who cares? Nobody likes The Pitt... (twenty bucks says the next person who posts likes The Pitt.)

As for me, I prefer Operation:Anchorage. Three words: Indestructible. Gauss. Rifle. I know, I know, that's cheating, but even the regular Gauss Rifle is one of the most powerful and efficient damage-per-shot weapons over all of the expansions. The only non-Big Gun weapons that do more damage per shot are the Tesla Cannon and Alien Blaster, but the former takes longer to reload, has no scope, and is much more dangerous to use at close range, and the latter has very limited ammunition, even with the expansions. Even with its single-shot magazine, the Gauss Rifle is pretty useful at point-blank due to its knockdown effect. If you think about it from a different angle, it's almost as though the Gauss Rifle never has to be reloaded at all; it just has a very low rate of fire.

Another perk of the weapon is that its scope is much easier to use than that of the regular Sniper Rifle. In the Gauss Rifle's case, there's a dot that designates the exact center of the scope, and it's bright red, so it doesn't blend in with the surroundings like the standard sniper scope tends to do. The regular Sniper's scope leaves a lot of room for error by being dull and imprecise. Even if you can actually see the scope's cross hairs while aiming, you basically have to guess where the middle is.

Finally, concerning the expansion as a whole, beyond just that weapon, finding a mutilated Gary corpse in the Outcast Outpost was priceless...

You forgot the indestructible T-51b which isn't cheating plus the ability to quickly get more than 20000 assault rifle ammo.
My favorite would have to be point lookout as it just adds the most in terms of new areas to explore, items, and quests. I would have said Zeta but you can't explore the entire ship once finished and the space suit paradoxically won't let you "breathe" underwater plus the alien weapons aren't damaging enough. Seriously man if it isn't water tight it certainly isn't air tight and therefore wouldn't have worked in space. I'll take my cookie now thank you.

Point Lookout was super cool. I felt like I was in a creepy futuristic horror movie when I was playing it.

Has to be point lookout, it's the only one where the enemys are tough and the guns aren't overpowered.

Despite what the OP said about Broken Steel, I still have to say Broken Steel anyway.

Operation Anchorage had nice bonuses at the end of it but otherwise it felt very restrictive, you were placed on a set path and given a specific list of guns to pick from (a huge step back from the freedom I was begining to enjoy thank you very much) with little in the way of any real choice or decision in more or less anything.

The Pitt was creepy and atmospheric (to an extent) but was extremely short for the amount of money I let a friend 'lend' me to buy it (I swear I will pay him back some day), the Autoaxe and it's variants were great and there were a few other cool items to gain but a lot of these were obtained by having to spend hours on end scouring the steel yard while fighting off the infinately spwaning waves of Trogs (at the rate I was going at I think I should have solved their Trog problem at least five times over).

Point Lookout gave me the everlasting satisfaction of blowing up hilbillies but a) the main quests were a huge let down ('your reward? DEATH!' They couldn't come up with anything better than that?) and b) compared to the other DLC, the weapons and equipment offered by Point Lookout was rather disappointing (with the exception of the double barrel shotgun). After the main missions there was no real reason to stick around other than to go piss off the locals, while it's funy at first the fact that they can very easily kill you (even when you're a high level) reduces the number of times you're gonna want to do that.

I haven;t played Mothership Zeta so I can't comment on that one.

Overall, Broken Steel had to most benefits without too many drawbacks. It was purely just an improvement on the main game (higher level cap, more weapons, removed the 'you die' ending, extra quests, more perks etc.) which is exactly what I was expecting.

I liked Point Lookout, but The Pitt seemed to be more up my alley in terms of seedy areas and storyline, plus the boss of the pitt has the same name as me, so cant complain there.
