Poll: which fighting game series do you love the most?

Capcom Versus... Specially Marvel versus capcom 1 (2 was lame and unbalanced). Then Smash Bros, Street Fighter, and Guilty Gear.

I love Smash Brothers. It's simple to play, what with not having those obscene button combos you have to study for years to be decent, but it isn't shallow at all. It's a good fun time.

I voted for street fighter... But soul calibur is still a very close 2nd, i used to like tekken but tekken 6 was such a huge disappointment

Virtua Fighter. There's no spamming hadoukens(Street Fighter) or just pressing anything over and over again(Tekken) here. These games take pure skill. The better player nearly always wins, and the pro games are amazing.

Also, where the HELL is Guilty Gear? And since when was Super Smash Bros a fighter? It's a brawler. This poll is fail.

a fun party game perhaps, but it is a fighting game in the same sense that E.T. was a platformer.

Why isn't Guilty Gear on this list? That's what my vote goes to. It's so over the top and I love it for that.

I'd post Blazblue as my pic but it's not a series yet on consoles. But when Continuum Shift is released it'll be the best fighter around.
