Poll: Which Foreign Country Would You Most Like To Visit?

My Personal favorite is Japan. If I get enough money they only country I would really NEED to visit would be Japan.

Well out of those I would go for Japan been once before and loved it but I expect they are still having a hard time over there at the moment but if it was any country I would go for Antarctica next always wanted to visit there for some reason.

Well, I come from Canada and have visited all the others except India, Russia, Japan and Brazil...

Toss-up between Russia and Japan. I know the language in Russia a bit, and the weather is nicer, but Japan is safer and there's probably more I'd like to see there.

Though if I could visit one of the one's I've already been to, I'd take China. I was in Beijing for a month, and it was hella fun - I'd love to go back!

Out of that list, Japan, but more for the rural scenery than for nerd culture. Going shrine hopping would be quite fun, I think.

However, before all that: Germany, for the architecture. Oh, for a trip to the Sanssouci, Unter den Linden and the Invalidenfriedhof.

But yeah, Japan as well. Games, anime, manga, the culture, and the scenery all interest me. I'd love to get a few photos of shrines with a bunch of sakura trees in the fore/background.

I think Amsterdam should be an option on this list. Seriously, the drugs don't even come into it, it is a really beautiful, laid back place. Everyone's so friendly as well.

No option for the U.S. or Australia? I want to go to Australia sometime during its wacky summer-during-the-winter. I hear it has nice beaches. Go on some beaches, see what the deal is about vegemite, and gawk at all the pretty people with funny accents.

India, because of my heritage. Though I would also love to go to Madagascar, 5 or more generations of my family was there.

Also, why do so many people want to go to Japan? Is it really that great? Seems over rated to me kind of like Japanese stuff.

I've gone to Montreal during the Jazz fest a few years, always a good time. Montreal is pretty much a party city during the summer.

Japan would be my favorite: it has a huge cultural history, and I like Japanese food. Two good reasons to go there.
