Poll: Which Foreign Country Would You Most Like To Visit?

America, followed by Japan.

America because fuck yeah. It gets a lot of flak but so much good stuff comes out of there, and there's so much to see in that country. And I know the language, that's a plus.

Italy. I really want to go see Florence and Rome for the culture and history and all that jazz. Plus, the weather's a lot nicer than here in England. Easier to get to than Canada and Russia as well.

I guess from that list I'd go to Russia, Japan or Canada.

Out of every foreign country, I'd be most likely to go to the US. However, the person who made this poll fail to understand that not everyone lives in the US, and so, realistically, I should've chosen the UK, seeing as I'm there right now.

I'm sort of interested in visiting Russia, but I know so little of the country I don't know where to begin. All I know is that I tend to find women with Russian accents sexy and I've heard there's a kind of Russian ice cream with butter in it. That may not be the solid foundation to base a vacation around.

Go to Sochi (where the 2014 Olympics will be held) or Kaliningrad. Both have nice beaches.

Well out of those I would go for Japan been once before and loved it but I expect they are still having a hard time over there at the moment but if it was any country I would go for Antarctica next always wanted to visit there for some reason.

You really did enjoy it? I really want to go, but people who have been there always complain about stuff like the hotels or the hospitallity. Did you have any trouble there?

We had no trouble at all in fact it was probably the best service I have ever had in a hotel and the hospitality was amazing every shop except one we went in they would be at pains to help us like explaining a japanese menu to us in english for example or giving us a fistful of free drinks vouchers because the guy I was having a laugh with turned out to be the manager. Out in the country more though you will encounter less tolerance usually but everyone we spoke to was exceptionally polite and I always felt safe drunkenly wondering the streets at night (well as safe as you can).

I would go, but the trouble is I don't know what I would do when I got there besides go to a baseball game. Any suggestions?

Well we spent a good 40% of the time in various pubs/clubs 30% sleeping and 30% sight seeing mainly around Tokyo and in two weeks still hardly saw any of it even though we went to different places via the subway each day so yeah there are some awesome sights and bars that stay open until 4am whereupon you leave and go to a club then crash at 1pm to start again at 6pm yup I loved it.

Can't really call Antarctica a country, the current generation of the treaty basically nullified all territorial claims so the entire place is essentially one big no mans land. Realistically whatever country you are from has control over you. I worked there over a summer, spent 6 weeks in McMurdo, snip...

Really thats awesome unfortunately I am from the UK but maybe they do a similar thing I will have to look into it thanks for the info.
