Haven't bought a new game in a while and a bunch of good ones just recently came out, so I need some help.

Out of the following, which should I buy?

Uncharted 2
Brutal Legend
Ratchet and Clank
Borderlands
Fallout 3 GOTY edition (I have the original, is it worth the DLC?)
Demon's Souls

Oh, and is Demon's Souls an action RPG or just a regular turn based RPG?

Why would you ever want to buy a game decided by popular vote? Especially when it can be done a lot easier: Using the poll as numbers(1-6 from top to bottom) the number provided by this link should be the one you should get. [http://www.random.org/integers/?num=1&min=1&max=6&col=1&base=10&format=html&rnd=new]

If I were you, I'd buy Demon's Soul because it seems really good, then Borderlands.

DS is an action RPG, last time I checked.

I couldn't think of any other way to decide. They all got similar ratings.

I really really realllllllly wanted to like Brutal Legend, but I don't. I recommend Fallout 3, because that's hours of shooty irradiated fun.

Why would you ever use ratings to decide which game to buy? Especially since that's the same as what you're doing here, using the opinion of others to decide for you.

Anyway, use the link, get that game, if you refresh the game after getting the first result you know you don't really want that game and you might actually from an opinion of your own.

Definately not Fallout GOTY, if you've already got normal Fallout, the DLC is pretty sucky and the only one worth getting is the broken steel one (that lets you play past credits)

Brutal Legend is fun and a nice change IMO.

This is actually a pretty good idea. I vote for Flours' idea. That's the quickest way for you to get the game that you want, rather than ask a forum for their opinions on which game they like best.

Fallout GOTY wouldnt be worth it, Brutal legend was awesome but it wont occupy you for long. Heard good things about Demon's Douls and Uncharted but i haven't played em. Borderlands should be fun solo/with friends and last quite a while?

I could recommend things better based on your interests.
Brutal Legend was a LOT of fun, but demon's souls is probably going to hold your interest longer and be more rewarding. But if you hate pretty difficult games borderland is likely easier than demon's Souls (which borrows a lot from roguelikes). Also only get Fallout 3 GOTY if you haven't played Fallout 3.

Priorities in descending order:
1. Brutal Legend.
2. Borderlands.
3. Ratchet N' Clank
4. Demon's souls.
5. Fallout DLC
6. Uncharted 2.

Thought I'd say Ratchet and Clank because I thought no one else would... and I was right.

My list:
1. Uncharted 2
1. Demon's Souls
3. Fallout GOTY
4. Brutal Legend
5. Ratchet and Clank
6. Borderlands

A few notes. Uncharted and Demon's Souls are tied in first, depending on what style you like more. Uncharted is a third person shooter and platformer. Demon's Souls is an intense action RPG with a touch of platforming. WARNING: Demon's Souls is arguably one of the hardest game of this decade (so hard that the Japs were complaining about it being too difficult), you will die dozens (even hundreds) of times before you complete the game. Even then, Demon's Souls is a incredibly fun game, and worth every cent you spend on it.

Borderlands is the lowest simply because I have yet to play it, so I have the least opinions about it. Ratchet and Clank hasn't been released, but all indications are that it's the same formula as before, so I know quite well what the game is like.

BRÜTAL LEGEND! YEEEEAAAH!

(Erhm: Its pronounced "Brytal", not "Brutal", hence the "Ü"... Tsk tsk tsk.)

I would say Brutal Legend, the game itself is quite good but at the same time very funny, if you're one of those people who hate Jack Black though, get Uncharted 2 or Ratchet and Clank.

I would go with Borderlands. It's pretty massive and will probably keep you occupied for much, much longer than Brutal Legend would. I would make a longer post and tell you more about why, but I've gotta run, sorry.
