Annnnnnd, I'm part of the awkward 0.6% who has selected None of the Above.

Really, I've just never gotten into those games :/

My sister might buy AC: Revelations? And I might be gifted Skyrim at Christmas ?
But yeah, I'm not planning to go out of my way to buy any of them.

And add to the list Batman: Arkham City and I'm basically committing gaming treason

But... but... MechWarrior 3 has been out for over a decade!

Seriously though, Modern Warfare 3... Also the Assassin's Creed one and Saint's Row 3. Skyrim and The Old Republic I may buy late for cheap... but the only one I'm definitely getting at some point is Mass Effect 3... even if the gameplay, RPG elements and plot holes wind up as bad as 2. I've come this far, after all...

Out of those, I only expect to get ME3. However, I personally don't get the hype for Skyrim. I tried playing Oblivion, and my problem with that game, which seems to be a trademark of Bethesda and something other people like, is that you can do ANYTHING. I just don't get why there is an option to pick up a random spoon and steal it if you are slightly off your target. Freedom is nice, but I feel Bethesda takes it too far, clogging space with a bunch of items and actions with no real consequences. That doesn't feel like freedom; it just seems tedious and frustrating.

MW3. There are plenty of choices out there if I want to shoot at people I don't know and get gay slurs spewed at me by over-caffeinated twelve-year-olds, and I'm not especially endeared with the idea of putting more money in Activision's coffers, given the way they've been running the show.
But are they any worse then EA?
...Not buying Battlefield 3, either...

They're differently bad. Somewhat. I don't want to say one is worse; every time I do, they seem to take it as a challenge.

First off Mass Effect 3 isn't coming out this month but I will probably get it. I am incredibly excited for Skyrim and already have it reserved. As for Star wars TOR, I'm on the fence but leaning towards not getting it. I picked MW3 and was surprised it was the top pick, I thought saying I didn't want it would be blasphemous. I'm not gonna get Saints Row 3 or Assasins Creed Revelations but out of the three MW3 would be my final choice of games to buy, so that is why I voted for it.

MW3. I never actually finished CoD4 and never played another current gen CoD.
SW:TOR. Not a fan of MMOs
Saints Row 3. At least not this year. Still not done with SR2 anyway.
AC:R. Still not done with ACII and didn't play Brotherhood, and this is the kind of game you have to play in order.

But I'll be all over Skyrim and ME3.

And why. If its most then one please pick the game that you are the least intrested in..

For me its Assasins Cread Revelations and its because im just tired of Ubisofts bullshit...

Hell im tired of the whole industries bullshit.

Ubisoft just has a special place in my heart for Assasins Creed 2's DRM.
I'm getting Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
that's not out yet
and I don't care about any of the listed
where's the option for that and/or the "other" option

also, did you copy my poll? o_e *twitch* *twitch*

Good mix of games.

MW3 - Battlefield 3 trump card

Skyrim - pre-ordered

Mass Effect 3 - pre-ordered N7 edition paid off

Star wars TOR - MMO, no thanks

Sants Row 3 - recently became undecided thanks to the Jimquisition

Assasins Cread Revelations - a series I always wanted to like that never grabbed me, so no thanks.

so I'm kinda 3.5 for 6 (with saints row being the .5 both ways). So yeah, well rounded list.

No i did not even look at your poll. But your thread did give me the idea for this one. Also "I'm getting Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3" Does not make much sense in this thread... Im asking you what ones are you not going to buy.

Not getting Skyrim, AC Revelation, MW3 for sure. ToR maybe, only if I can get a disc copy of it so I can avoid using Origin.

Star Wars - Not a big fan of MMOs in general (and the one I do play aggrevates me to end sometimes)
MW3 - Again MW2 was a huge pile of RAGE for me, and I'm tired of military shooters in general for a while
Possibly Assassin's Creed - Played the first one up until you got three missions to pick from and I haven't picked it up since.

I clicked MW3, but really it was Star Wars The Old Republic. I'm kind of done with Star Wars stuff, especially pre original trilogy storylines. That, and I have no interest in PC games or MMORPGs. If MW3 works well on PS3 and has a kickass and significantly long campaign mode, I might give it a shot. But I bet it won't succeed on either front. That and Assassin's Creed Revelations. I didn't like where the series went in the sequel and I have no interest in that style of gameplay again. If it's like the first one, then maybe.

For me, since I can't afford to get alot of them, i'd say the majority except Saints Row 3. Granted, it's kind of Juvinile in some areas, but let's face it, it's a game that will go the way you want it to go. So if you want a straight forward game, go for it...

The other games? well, I've had issues with MW3, normally dying too fast, so that's out. The rest? Maybe, but for the most part, mostly SR3 for me.

MW3, I'm so original. While MW3 does look somewhat polished and a bit of fun, I dont normally play the multi, and am only realy interested in the story (as cliche as it looks ATM). Plus the multi DOES look fairly similar to the past few versions, so if I felt the urge for that I'd go play some COD4.
I actually think Im goign to wait on alot of these games, for the iminent releases of the GOTY editions, because they all seem to be planning huge DLC programs, and I ceebs paying that much for all the DLC. Saints row 3 especially, they said they had a 52 week dlc plan or something. Ugh. And Skyrim I'll probably pick up a few months after release, so hte mod scene has built up some steam.

I'm not going to get the bottom three, but I voted for TOR because that's the one I won't get the most. No I don't know how its possible to not get something more than another thing you're not getting.

Not getting MW3 after the debacle that was MW2, never riding a hype train of that calibre again. Not getting Skyrim because Oblivion was just absolutely awful. Not getting Saints Row 3 because it just looks fucking ridiculous, and not in a good way. Whereas GTA IV was like a really fucking good Michael Mann flick, (see the heist mission), Saints Row 3 looks like a really bad Jason Statham movie, and from the looks of the first mission, looks not only like it will love to take away player control, but also that the game doesn't understand the meaning of pacing. Talk about blowing your load prematurely. My love for Mass Effect 2 disappeared quickly after the second playthrough after I realized it was a crappy GoW clone with a conversation system, and I don't like GoW to begin with, so I likely won't be getting ME3. No interest in MMOs so no SWTOR for me. The only game I plan on getting is AC: Revelations, because, shit, I get to run around Constantinople/Istanbul's rooftops, fighting Jannissaries and exploring the Hagia Sophia? Consider my history nerd ass sold.

Ain't the state of the game industry today grand?
