Poll: Which game would you buy first?

While I would much rather have Skyrim, I voted for Gears 3. My friend and I have plans that when it comes out we'll get the game and play splitscreen coop through the entire series. We'd have fun.

that does sound like a hell of a lot of fun, i might just have to do the same with my friends

Well, seeing as I only care about Skyrim and Battlefield, I'll go with Skyrim. Never played an Elder Scrolls before but this ones does look excellent, and it's been a while since I played a nice deep RPG.

I do find it quite funny how Battlefield is currently 3 times more popular than MW3, despite the fact that MW always somehow sells more copies than anything. Are people finaly getting sick of MW perhaps?

Minecraft - already bought it
Gears of War 3 - hiding behind walls is cool!

Skyrim. All the other are not interesting for me at all. A pack of boring shooters and a game which could be easily replaced with MS Paint or Blender.

Personally, it's a toss up between Gears 3 and MW3. On the one hand, I have a lot of fun playing co-op with a couple buddies of mine on Gears and the four-player co-op would be awesome. On the other hand though, I have more buddies, including the ones previously mentioned, that all play CoD and I know fairly certainly that they will get MW3. Spur-of-the-moment, I'd have to go Gears just to hear my friend talk shit on Dom and praise the Cole Train lavishly.
