I think it was implied that dizzy died when he took on the super locust just before delta went underground. Carmine 3 and 4 will probably survive and maybe even be the guys to save delta, revealing their surnames after-wards in really gruff voices or something, cliffy B seems like just the sort of person to do that.dontreallyknow said:
i don't think that a death is confirmed by this, i didn't even thing 4 player co-op was conformed either because the trailer analysis vids i have watched make no mention of it (although one was edited to say anya after it originally said "female gear").
I think that there will be some sort of "oh no some rocks fell down meaning one of us is separated" type thing and someone might die at the end but im guessing if that happens it will be Dom as he seemingly wants to dies in the trailer, making Marcus rather angry by the looks of it, maybe that was all a red herring tho.
I can't vote because there isn't a "Carmine's 3rd brother" option. But since I'm forced to pick amongst the main characters... Probably Baird, the annoying little !$@&%*^@#@!
I suspect they might have Dom throw himself into a hoarde of Locusts to save the others, yelling something like,'I HAVE NOTHING TO LIVE FOR ANYMORE!', by this point I think most gamers will cheer, cos I get the feeling there gonna make him more annoying over the loss of his wife than he was in the second game.

Cole dying would be a very hard thing to deal with, he's my fav character by far to coolest one of the bunch, but i think dom or baird but considering the situation they are in in the trailer i think there will be multiple deaths.
Carmine of course. And I will cry when it happens because he will be the best character.

But in all seriousness, I would hate to see either Cole or Baird die, I absolutely love them, they are the odd couple of the game and they really help lighten the mood of the game.

It will be the saddest death in gaming history, he will die on top of a massive pile of Locusts which he had to kill with his bare hands due to running out ammo and blunting the chainsaw blades.

Well there's only one carmine left (one of those collectibles in Gears 2 had the third brother's last words on it), so he's probably either going to die, or is a complete badass who blames Marcus for the deaths of his brothers.
Hopefully it won't be Jack. He's one of the best characters in the game (can go invisible, has a stronger chainsaw than the others, is a robot, can fly, has done more than most COG soldiers, is such a huge advantage that when he reveals to accomplish a task waves of enemies attack, is Jack the Ripper, is a strong silent type, etc.)

I say Marcus and Cole Train and possibly Anya.
It would suck if they just had another Carmine to get killed off though.
For some reason 4-player co-op doesn't particularly appeal to me for Gears. Maybe it's just because I don't like small screens. Also, what happened to the manly, "let's split up in the Locust base" kinda thing? Did they only realise it was a bad idea after they're the only survivors?

given that there is supposedly >2 player co-op, i'd be suprised if any of the playable characters died other than right at the end...
seriously though, seeing as it's assumed this is the last game in the series, there's no holds barred. anything could happen if they dont need to clean up after right?
