Poll: Which gun would you rather have?

Would you rather have the Portal gun from Portal or the Point of view gun from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy?

I can't decide myself. The Portal gun would probably be cooler, but being an opinionated and argumentative person the POV gun would probably be more useful in my life. If you can thik of another fictional/non-lethal gun (I'm making these rules because otherwise this could go on forever) that you think does something even better then feel free to vote Other and specify.

(I wasn't sure which forum to put this in as Portal is a game but HGTTG is a movie. I went for Off Topic in the end so I hope that's ok)

I have literally spent hours fantasizing about ownership of the Portal Gun. Although of late, I have switched to a new model; a compact wrist-mounted device on each arm, capable of firing blue and orange portals respectively. Usually fall asleep thinking about this, or cybernetics a la Deus Ex.

Portal gun. The POV gun carries the danger that, once your opponent has seen things your way, they'll still disagree. Science has yet to find an argument persuasive enough to convince physics of anything.

I like the way you think. While your at it have a setting where anyone you shoot at suddenly has their head filled with your awesome soundtrack, and a 'haters gonna hate' ray, that overpowers the minds of your detractors with pure godliness and friendship.

I see we have a winner with the Portal Gun. I still can't decide personally. The Portal gun has about a million applications, each more awesome than the last, but then again about a million people I know could do with a good POV zap once in a while.
