Team fortress two, purely because it has class's that work together.

The best you will get with COD4 is a sniper trying to cover his ally's, and even then that tends to fail seeing as you die in 1-5 shots, or a single grenade, or a single c4, or a claymore, or a headshot... you get the picture.

Its just that team fortress has class's that are designed specifically to have weakness's and strengths, where COD4 was not.

Team Fortress 2, because the classes need to work together to do well.

I love Call of Duty though, and I've played that in a more tactical team way than I ever have TF2, but still Team Fortress clearly demands more teamwork.

TF2 easy, COD4 just has people running round shooting shit, in TF2 people have to think tacticly about helping each other depending on their class

Call of Duty 4 has one of the worst playerbases in history, only barely surpassed by MW2. Nobody has a microphone unless they are in a Party so teamwork becomes impossible.

It is a lone wolf game, that can be played as team. TF2 you need all the classes to work together. You need the Spy to disable the Sentry, then the Scout to grab the intel, then the Pyro to burn ahead of him, then the Heavy to assault the base, then the Medic to heal him etc....

Call of Duty 4 is a great game don't get me wrong, but it caters to personal likes/dislikes while TF2 just has to be played as a team.

TF2 by far. There's literally no teamwork in cod4 whatsoever, and if you DO stay in a group you're just an easy 2 kills to any passing dude with any sort of machine gun because everyone dies in one or two bullets.

There's no "Team" in Call of duty 4, but there is in "Team fortress 2"

TF2. Teamwork in CoD 4 usually consists of calling me a camping fag, even though I'm a sniper, using a ghile suit in Overgrown.

I hate that map so much.....

There's teamwork in TF2 and COD4? I thought they were both just ok Team Deathmatch games. At least, that's how they always play out in pubs.

well even in random games there is team work in tf2, engineers and medics have to work together even the most retarded players work as a group in tf2, in CoD you have to play a ranked match to even hope for any kinds of team play.

i think this poll was doomed to begin, next time try something like l4d vs tf2, might make it more interesting.

In Team Fortress 2, if you don't work as a team things go downhill very quickly.

In Call of Duty, teamwork helps, but it isn't necessary to win the match.

@All who have commented on poinlessness (yeah I make words) of this thread, I just wanted to prove to this CoD4 vet who said that CoD4 has equal or > tactics than tf2... I sat there going for a while and was just dumbfounded by his flawed logic

TF2 by far.
but neither has anything on project reality, where teamwork is critical for up to 32 players per side.
plus CoD is really made for a single player to be good at while solo, team merely work better
