Poll: Which image do you prefer?

The detail fits the subject better. Flowers are very delicate and quite interesting and to appreciate them, you have to see the intricate patterns and weaves in the petals. While image 1 may appeal in different context. In general preference, I like the intrigue than the eye-candy.

I'm a male and I prefer Image 1.

It's more vivid and I prefer the slightly brighter colours of the first one than the very slightly duller ones of the second

This is going to be skewed. What you have to do is interview 50 men and 50 women, not 90 men and 10 women which I'm pretty sure is the male/female ratio on the Escapist.

But I'm a dude and I like number 2 the best... the first one is a bit bright and the second one just looks softer.

Female and #2. The first one looks over-saturated, while the second is more realistic, while still retaining a whimsical quality because of the colours.

Not enough to balance out a statistic like this. For instance, while 82 males voted, only 6 females had.
