Poll: Which image do you prefer?

Oooooh, it's the exact same image, but the first one is far more vibrant and appealing, as opposed to the dull, uninteresting, forgettable greyness of the second.

Yeah, I picked the 1st one, and I'm a male - I can only assume that means I'm awesome, and have good taste.

At first glance i would have said 1: BRIGHT FUN... but the second one looks more "real" and after a while i began to like it more. So it is 2 for me - male

I like colors and all, but even the second one is extremely bright. Especially the blue. Plus the first one is kinda fuzzy. So yeah, number two here, and male. If there were a third one with a bit more subtlety to the colors without losing detail that would be even better.

i find it is more of a natural picture,whereas image one is heavily saturated, making the colours apear more eye popping

Picked number two because it feels softer with pleasant natural hues. Still, the first has a much stronger sense of color so its immediate draw is there. Who knows, maybe it's some horrid trick, but either way hey it's an interesting idea and project.

Male - I honestly don't prefer either. I like both of them, but neither seems more attractive or eye-catching to me.

Female poster liking image one better. The colour is bolder and the image focus seems sharper to me.

And this might sound odd and off the wall but the bit that really decided it for me is the centre of the big pinky/purple flower in the foreground - in image one it is far more yellow, in image two it is yellow and green and a part of me is finding that rather revolting (no, I am not sure why), perhaps it is suggestive to a part of my mind of decomposition, I don't know. I just don't like the greeny bit.

The first image has much more vibrant colours but it kind of distorts the details, and I just like sharp and colourful images more than blurry overbright images.
