wow lol, this is the worst reply to any post ever.
Still better than saying 'first!'

OT: I tried a PB&J sandwich once. It was a crime against nature.

Jam, as it comes off the knife easier so I don't get the peanut butter covered with it.
You americans are weird and illogical. It took me a long long time to try an peanut butter and jam sandwich cos it sounded horrible. But when I did I loved it.

That being said ill repeat your illogical. PB goes on one slice. Jam goes on the other slice. bring together.
I'm english though =D

But yes I agree on your method.

Shitting hell that sounds disgusting. Is this some weird American thing?
It sure is. It's funny, when I was in Australia I noticed that lots of Australians eat it too. WW2 American-isation anyone?

I've had it a few times. I don't care for peanut butter, so I didn't enjoy it.

My mum makes what my dad's family calls "Vermont Sandwiches" by spreading the jam on top of the peanut butter. This creates a depressing lack of jam on the final sandwich as it doesn't stick to the peanut butter very well.

Neither because I don't like PB&J sandwiches.

I do like ham and cheese sammiches though. In that case, the ham goes first

Branston Pickle, then peenie butter, then Nutella, then Marmite, on non-white, weirdo all-natural bread.

You first.

Spreading peanut butter over jam is a recipe for disaster. Assuming it is crunchy (if not, you clearly have issues), it will stick to the jam and drag it around, making it uneven. Therefore, you will have a peanut butter sandwich with the occasional bit of jam.

I vote for (veggie) sausage. Also, cheese and onion crisps.

I kinda get two knives, stick them in the containers, wriggle them around and then pull the knives out and make a picasso-like style of food. Then I take large amounts of bacon with BBQ sauce and lather it all. Topped by a slice of pizza.
What's not to like?

Peanut butter on the bottom then jam.

It's hard to get a hold of PB in my town so I usually just make Jam sandwiches.
