Poll: Which is funnier: banana costume or hot dog costume?

Well, chalk this up under "arguments with my friends that lasted longer than they have any goddamn right to" In a conversation about ways to spend your last day at work, the subject of non-ordinary attire soon came up. Long story short, we spent a good 30 minutes in a heated discussion over the various strengths and weaknesses of both (the banana representing the bounty of nature vs. the hot dog as the embodiment of mas consumption, etc.).

So I bring the question forward to you, Escapists: which costume is more amusing?

Bananas are funnier for 3 reasons:

1: they're yellow
2: they're bendy
3: they make people slip

All hotdogs have going for them is the fact that they're shaped like a penis, but bananas have that too.

Well ok there's more to it than that. To me banana always remind of those classical humour were people slip on a banana peel. So to me a guy in a banana costume is more amusing because of that nostalgia.
