You're off by one letter on that one: B. Take out the I, the P, the E's, and the N, you get the STRANGEST overall anime ever, once you multiply the B and O by seven. I happen to like One Piece out of those four, to actually answer the question.

Yes, I have. I also admit there are different types of strange when it comes to anime. On a side note, congratulations on being the first person to figure my comment out.

This question is pointless, its a matter of opinion. In that sense, people aren't always gonna agree with the options given, and either say none, or ignore the options all together and say their own. I guess the point is, there is no best anime, just the one each individual person likes best.

In an attempt to write an intelligent point on how this topic can't really give any rational reason to exist, you sort-of fail at rational thought. I get your point, in that forums that are simply "yea-or-nay" to this-or-that are just usless. Yet it asks an opinion of the community, therefore being a useful topic of discussion.
People voice their opinion and why, while others agree or disagree and give their points. It certainly doesn't help that the poll is limited to four options, but posters have decided not to limit themselves.

Thanks for trying to bring down my post, but I don't think the OP intended to have everyone add their own choices.

EDIT: Don't turn this into a big thing, I think that would make people mad.

Geeze, what's with all the hate on these animes (and anime in general, for that matter)?
I mean, if these anime suck so much, then what makes stuff like movies and western comics or books so much better?
Anywho, I don't intend to go into fanboy mode, so I'll just say that I think Naruto is pretty good, it's got lots of charm, humor and story (if you just pay attention...or even watch it instead of basing your opinion on what everyone says/random episodes).
I like One Piece as well, though some of the characters get on my nerves sometimes.
Bleach, I'm not much a fan off, but I won't say it's bad.
DBZ....Glowing muscular supermen that are also wereapes in storylines that make no sense whatsoever? Occasionally fun, but not my cup of tea.

I love Naruto Shippuden, but I like very little of the original version.

I would say either Berserk or Monster/20th Century boys/Pluto (Urasawa's "big" three, from which I cannot choose).

For the ones you presented us with:
Bleach and Naruto both had some potential during their first arc, but then slowly declined. Also, the characters in Naruto seem more like magical gifted mercenaries than ninja.
The Dragon Ball series is a classic, but on reflection just a line-up of enemies with exponentially growing power and horribly streched-out fight scenes.
I did not watch One Piece.
