Heat.

I STILL, having got the game when it was released, have not finished that son of a ***** on Veteran yet.

I don't necessarily think it's the hardest, but No Fighting in the War Room caused me the most rage, but only the last corridor or two. There was always some random solider shooting me in the back or already aiming at my face, it seemed like no matter what I did or where I went I was met with unavoidable death. I finally realized that a blitzkrieg + liberal M203 use = success.

OSOK was hard but only required a sound strategy for success, same with MHC. I actually had zero trouble on Heat whatsoever (lucky I guess), you just need to run your ass off in between airstrikes.

None of them hold a candle to CoD2 however (difficulty-wise)

I accepted the fact that Mile High Club was supposed to be nigh impossible, so that didn't bother me. No Fighting In the War Room can go jump off a cliff. Tell me, producers, how am I supposed to survive going down a narrow corridor with NO COVER, while directly BEHIND ME is another narrow corridor, and no matter how many flash grenades or just plain grenades I throw down the two corridors, it never clears them? And every enemy has a SNIPER'S ACCURACY, no matter what weapon they are using? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT? HUH!?

Tell you what: You beat Mile High and No Fighting on Veteran for me, and I'll crush Heat for you. Deal? Because I have the same problem with those two levels, for the same length of time.

I managed to complete all but Mile High Club on veteran, so it has to be that. I only managed One Shot, One Kill by using an exploit, though, so that's not exactly fair. I do know someone who finished it legit on veteran, though. Guy is crazy.

I finished it legit. When I went to youtube yesterday to get a video of it I saw some guy go hide behind a building and the level ended. That level took many many retries to complete just to find out you could do that.

Heat. Jesus Christ, that was a nightmare.
Though Heart of the Reich in WaW beats them all.
I personally ever finished WaW because of the spamming grenades. Holy Shit its like they fill their ammo boxes and stuff their asses with them.

No Fighting in the War Room was the most annoying. Mile High Club was bad but since your tries only took 1 minute it didn't bug me too much. Heat was alright because you got airstrikes and some checkpoints in between houses.

The hardest mission is just putting down the game and doing something more fun, i keed.

In all seriousness i don't remember the name but it's the one Estate is based off, where you're protecting the computer tower. i absolutly hated that level and then the awkward checkpointing and dying as i run down the hill only to respawn, get to the end and...

*spoilers*

That was in MW2 and I agree that it was bullshit. I actually killed everyone while I was going down the hill and I saw that the bombs going off were scripted to kill you at certain spots. I'd literally be going do the enemyless field and then a random mortar would blow me up.....Just to get to the bottom to of the hill and get shot in the head. Still, 'Heat' in MW is wayyyyy harder than that. Imagine that the hill you're going down was 4x longer and their were 20x more enemies with sniper precision..... and you have to get to the bottom while they climb up in under 3 minutes.

It took me days to get past the ferris wheel, but I still haven't gotten past heat on veteran.
I honestly don't know how I did it. I don't think its possible to do without pure dmb luck.

The one where you start off in the helicopter turret. I get so riddled with bullets before I can even bring the gun to bear on the enemy it's a miracle if I even get into the town proper.

One Shot, One Kill. Actually getting to the apartment blocks. Feris wheel. Nearly two hours it took.

I've done them all on Vereran and I would say that Heat and no fighting in the war room are joint first, One shot one kill coming in at a close second.

Heat was a ***** getting down the hill, and no fighting had that bit where the corridor brancehs off to the left or the right, which was stupidly hard.
