What ever happened to "Sticks and stones?"

If someone gets offended by a word, good, they deserve to get offended for being so weak that something like a word can hurt them.
I'll tell you what happened to sticks and stones; it went the way of the Dodo, because most civilised societies realised that words CAN be extremely harmful. If you saw someone scream obscenities at a two year old, would you call that child weak if they burst into tears?

I take it you've never had a relationship break up either? Or an estranged family member? friend-turned enemy? Disciplinary parent? Crush that turned you down? Come to think of it, I'd hate to live in such a sterile environment as that.
Oh golly jeepers, those vocal vibrations hurt me so.

Grow up, and you'll learn words only hurt you as much as you let them.
Ironic that you're telling me to grow up when it is you who is acting like a child.

I ask you again: If you saw someone scream obscenities at a two year old, would you call that child weak if they burst into tears?

N-Word.

Theres no competition between the two.
Even a white man would be pissed getting called one.

I've been called the C-word if its the one I think and I just kinda looked like wtf? And laughed.
Hell i'm freakin white and my friends and I call each other that all the time.

By the way are we all five, typing the (the n-word). Just type ******. Why are we even saying (the n-word) for? So that no one will know what we're saying.
Bingo! Growing up, my friends and I regularly called each other "******" and all of us were as white as rice. "******", "fucker", "*****" it all meant the same thing. Basically "I don't believe you won that match fairly by use of that cheap pattern of attack with Sub Zero." was shortened to a plop of a controller in a lap and a wicked grin with "******" being spouted.

NO word is "racist" in and of itself, or offensive. If you're "white" and being called '******' by your friends is offensive... I got nothing... It's a damn word.
I dont expect yall to understand why the would is so bad honestly. But Thanks for the opinions.

Did I hurt your feelers? I'm sorry my big bad words have such an impact on you.

Would I call the child weak, yes, because children are weak.
Haha- no, you didn't hurt my feelings. Thanks for caring enough to ask though...

Also thanks for answering the question finally. That just told me everything I needed to know about you.
