Or if you're like me and not a vegetarian you might still find bacon disgusting. I can only think to describe it as a cross between a bit of leather that's been left out in the sun and fat. On the other hand I don't care for sex either. I'm just going to guess that the majority would find sex more tempting than bacon. I guess it just depends on which type of person has a larger populace.Phoenixlight said:1. This is not a poll.
2. If you're a true vegetarian (like me) bacon isn't a temptation, it's something disgusting and wrong.
Well, there are some people who say they have never masterbated or had sex. I respond to that with a joke my friend told me. I'm not 100% sure it's forum safe though. PM me if you want to hear it.Julianking93 said:Sex for chaste.
Bacon you can live without (I'm a vegetarian and do so)
It's just unhealthy to go without sex or at least masturbation.
What defines a "true" vegetarian? One of my best friends is a quite strict vegetarian (No eggs, and she is on the fence about dairy) for purely dietary reasons, she finds nothing morally wrong with animal products.Phoenixlight said:1. This is not a poll.

The poll broke, it's been happening a lot lately to many different threads.Phoenixlight said:1. This is not a poll.
Not all vegetarians commit to that lifestyle because they think that eating animals is wrong, many people go vegetarian for health reasons. The very definition of a true vegetarian is well... a vegetarian]url]. Vegetarians don't eat meat, although sometimes there is an exception with diary products and eggs.2. Yes, plenty of people believe so, and it's well proven that a well planned (those parents obviously didn't do that part) vegetarian diet can have health benefits. It wasn't the vegetarianism itself that killed the baby, it was that the kid's diet was made up of crap that lacks nutrition. A vegetarian parents that wasn't retarded and knew what they were doing would have breastfed the baby or at least brought formula.Fluse said:This always makes me whonder... do anyone actualy belive that not eating meat is healthy? The human body reqires ALOT of things you get from eating meat, and our digestion system is geared to handle it better then most other things... and dont start about tofu or soy protines, both of those are bandaid solitions to not eating meat atall...
oh, and if you dont belive read this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6642543.stm

reasons for being a vegetarian are many.Chamale said:The two are so different that I'm not sure a fair comparison can be made. Vegetarians think that eating meat is wrong because it's cruel to the animal that was killed for food; chaste people have some different motive. I don't think any sane chaste person could believe that having (safe) sex harms any other living things.
Gladly. For me, it was more of an actual choice rather than biological hardwiring. What I would be called is actually heteromantic with a tendency towards asexuality. The so-called "urge" to procreate only exists if I'm around someone I consider to be a significant other, but is something I can honestly do without for an extended period of time. The drive simply doesn't exist when I look at someone who would normally be considered "hot". Biologically, I think it may be a tendency to look for specific genetic qualities in a prospective mate rather than a desire to have my genes carry on to another generation.Aylaine said:Hmmm...I wonder, if you are or feel asexual, is it just a belief choice, or do you not have the biological hardwire to have sexual desires or urges period? I want to say it's the former, but I'm honestly not very knowledgeable on asexuality. Can you clarify a bit?Naheal said:Um... Are we talking someone who is simply chaste or asexual? If someone's asexual, the temptation doesn't even exist.
