I haven't seen enough of the old stuff to make my choice anyone before the ninth Doctor. I'm going to have to choose Tennant. I'm going to be sad when he goes. ;_;

I don't watch Dr Who.
Then don't post in a thread about Doctor Who.

OT: David Tennant, but admitedly he's the first Doctor I knew, and the only of 3 that I've actually seen.

Dammit, Ninja'd.

I rather like David Tenant's performance, though I am a little surprised that Tom Baker wasn't a popular choice. Most hardcore Doctor Who fans (the ones who have actually seen most of the old series as well as the new one) say that he is their favorite.

I'm gonna have to go with David Tennant. Mostly because his was the only series I ever enjoyed (I'm talking REALLY enjoyed) but partly because he always portrayed what I thought the doctor should be like. Obnoxious and eccentric but caring and determined.

I've seen most of the new ones, some of the old, have the Dalek Annual for 1981 or something like that, and I've read a few of the old books.
I'll be damned if I can choose a favourite, but they're all so Fething brilliant :D

I haven't watched enough of the old series to make a confident judgement on those doctors. Of the new batch my favourite is David Tenant. I think Eccleston was good, but he decision to leave after one series severely stunted his doctor, making the characterisation a little too short lived for my liking. Tenant has stuck with his, and made it, IMO, an engaging and likeable show.

Tennant was the Tenth.

Eccleston was my first Doctor as the Ninth, and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

I'm surprised you added the Eleventh, considering he hasn't even appeared on-screen yet. >_>
Actually you are wrong. He appeared in the Dr.Who Christmas special last year.

I very sure Tennant's going to die in the upcoming special "The end of time" it's on Space sometime this week. (still remaining in stupid corner)

The Eleventh? No, he didn't get screen time until the '09 special finale, "The End of Time, Part Two." Are you thinking of the special, "The Next Doctor"? If so, that was a human under the influence of timey-wimey... stuff. o-o

Seeing as the doc is an unknown factor in Belgium, I have to say Eccleston. I've got that season on DVD whilst the Tennant ones are packed individually. Of which the first part is never available by the way. ANYHOO, after seeing some episodes of Tennant and a few of the older ones, I'm still going to have to say Eccleston.
