I was mostly right handed, but I'm a "learned ambidextrous" because of many years of shinkendo(Japanese swordsmanship). The only thing I can't do with my left as well as I can with my right is write straight, and it's still mostly legible.

I'm ambidextrous for everything but writing(cursive). Leftie is stronger but Rightie is faster.

I can't write with my left hand for crap and I'm definitely right-dominated, but lefty is stronger and righty is faster as well.

I've HEARD of ambidextrous people, but I highly doubt they're as common as this poll seems to believe.

Well i'm not naturally born ambidextrous. Mr.Right got damaged for a while so lefty had to be used and since then i just practiced.

Well, it's quite balanced for me. I use my right hand for writing, and my left hand (and only my left hand) for typing. I hold things in either hand, usually my right one but it doesn't affect me too much really. I eat with my knife and fork reversed, which I think is the left handed method, although I'm never sure about that. Maybe that has nothing to do with it.

Technically I'm right handed, but I also use my left hand a lot... I'm not really sure why.

Looking over what I typed, it looks like a confused mess. That is the best way of describing this for me though...

One thing I'd like to ask here is this; Why do people think that since I play guitar, that I should switch it around, so my right hand does the more dexterous work? I play guitar "normal" which always made more sense to me. I mean, my left hand, which I've got a lot better control over, does the work that requires more dexterity than my right hand. If anything, everyone else is the freak and I'm the normal one.
