Poll: Which legendary online shooter is best?

I think battlefield 2 was and is totally awsome, even now when its graphics are outdated, but obviously counter strike source is cool aswell, and COD 4/5 are addictive and awsome....so yeah which one is better and why? (um also sorry for the short poll options, i'm really tired and some shooters could be classified under different categories etc, otherwise sorry for being a reletively uneducated heathen when it comes to shooters, but seriously of the 3 mentioned above I'd say I am damn good at and a pretty hardcore player of.....but don't think I just play shooters....I'm not a mindless COD zombie....honest....no but really i'm not)

I'd go for TF2. Or maybe battlefield heroes. I don't play many multiplayer shooters, but I much prefer the tongue-in-cheek, cartoonier graphics.

Battlefield 2 was amazing, and I loved battlefield 2142 titan mode, raining death on enemies from a floating tank... good times.

Frontlines Fuel of War is one of my all time favs
Quake 1 was amazing online(if it counts as it was very much singleplayer)
Unreal Tournament series is good
CoD is also a huge favorite of mine(any of them, esp 2 tho)
Medal of Honour AA was really good back in the day

Ealiest memory of a shooter would be the old Counter Strike, when it was still considered a "mod" if you will.
But yep, id have to go with BF2, even if it did get a bit sad later on in life with the no vehicles selection and the constant grenade spamming

I like COD and Battlefield, with a preference of COD4 over CODWAW (it isn't cod 5, people!), but I prefer Battlefield Bad Company. It takes alot more teamwork and "skill" if you can call it that, instead of just grenade spamming at the beginning, and rushing the same person until you finally kill him.

So yeah, Bad Company.

It might not be the best or most popular online fps, but Team Fortress Classic will always hold a special place in my heart for the many, many hours of fun it gave me. I also feel it had a great clan community, better than most others, especially when playing at the highest level.
