Tali and Garrus are a must due to being buddies from the start, plus of all the fan rage if they aren't in the game.

Legion was extremely funny and a very interesting character, i would love it for him to be in ME3 and perhaps give us the assistance of Geth.

Thane is dieing but he was a brilliant and interesting character so we can keep him alive somehow till the end of ME3 then I'll love for him to come along.

I want Kaidan!
Yes I know he isn't part of your poll and yes, I know I am being petulant and maybe unnecessarily difficult about this but dammit, don't give me a carpet only to swipe it from under me BioWare................. ¬_¬
Oh and I predict someone will quote me just to say ''Haha, Kaidan, I couldn't nuke that dude fast enough, whiny Carth wannabe, blah blah blah blahbeurghaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhh''!
In 10, 9, 8...................
But I don't care if some people don't like him, I do, so there!
(I think I must have PMT or something, sorry.
) I am just feeling cynical and cross atm, normal service will be resumed shortly. WHEN THEY GIVE US OUR DAMN KAIDAN BACK!!!
Of the new characters - Mordin or Legion.

Wrex. I don't care if he wasn't in the party. I miss his arguing with Garrus.

depends on what you want to achieve. For me Tali, Miranda, Thane, Garrus and Legion. Are to must life crew for me. I can't single anyone out of that list.

The characters I would love to see back is Tali, and Garrus, and Legion, and Mordin, and ofc Wrex and maybe Liara, because what she did for you was sweet.
Oh right, and Thane, because he is just awesome with his gentlemen/assasin kinda behaviour. The rest isn't really that interesting to me.

Other: Kaidan.

The pitiful encounter in Mass Effect 2 was a heartbreaker. I'd hate it if my character "saved herself" for someone who isn't even in the third installment.

It does worry me considerably about how BioWare will manage all the characters they've introduced into the universe. Not only does each gender have six possible romance options they've got to keep afloat, but all the side-characters you mention are still in the universe. They could do something like be able to visit a character on a mission (like with Wrex), but wouldn't it be nice if we could recruit who we like? Sure, they'll probably introduce a core group of new characters in ME3, but why not allow players to pick and choose from old crew members?

Tali and Garrus.

I liked Grunt and Moridin.

The rest can die and not bother me at all.

I find your lack of Grunt disturbing.
If you had Grunt and Wrex on a team nothing could stop you, like ever.
Have they announced Wrex for ME3?
I have no idea if they have announced anything for the 3rd game, I'm sorta hoping that they bring everyone back from the first and 2nd game.

Well every1 that survived in ur save from ME1 was in ME2 even if they where just NPCs like Liara and Kaiden/Ashley. Assuming u play from first game all the way into the third those that survived the suicide mission will feature somehow in the third.

Tali and Garrus should defo return as player chars in my eyes

I voted Garrus. Only because there wasn't a Wrex option. I love that guy <3. Although I like Garrus equally as much :D

I can't pick one I don't want. I'd like to see Kaiden Alenko and Ashley Williams play a bigger part in the third game too, but from ME2 if I was forced to take just one, it'd be Garrus.

He has been with you since the start and is someone that I can trust in my games to do his job and do it well.
