Poll: Which Mass Effect 2 character is a "must" have in ME3

Considering that every single one of your team can die in the endgame, and some aren't going to live long after that anyway (Mordin's pretty old for a salarian and Thane's terminally ill), I'm not expecting many to make more than a superficial transition into ME3.
Having said that I really want to see Legion again. He was a dynamic character and they really did him a disservice waiting until the verge of the endgame to have him join your crew.

Thane was my absolute favourite from the new cast; he's one of my most favourite characters of all time. His illness may be an issue.
Other I'd pick would be:
- Miranda (her and Ashley need to fight over me in 3)
- Garrus (it's good to have that feeling of a good mate to come along and experience everything with you)
- Mordin, if he weren't dead. *sniff* Sleep well, sweet prince...

I gots me a big boner for Tali! But seriously, Tali and Garrus were the characters that acted the most different, and Thane just intrigued me, I mean ...the guy's a religious (kinda) alien psycho but he has a heart and cares about cleansing the world and his soul.
I really want Legion, Garrus, Thane, and Mordin(hes not a bad singer). Maybe Grunt if they made him a baddass like Wrex. I don't really care about any of the rest of them. Oh and maybe tali i kinda thought she was cute(personality wise).
1. Jack. Most interesting character and involving story coupled with a great VA. Epic on all levels.
2. Liara. Formerly naive and adorable all grown up to a pissed off and vengeful vessel of awesomeness that a justicar would think twice about confronting.
3. Mordin. The funny side-kick, and great war stories.

For me the best pair was Tali and Garrus because Garrus is a complete badass and he feels like hes my best friend in the game. Tali because shes just so goddamm cute i had to chose her for the romance. And when both are in your sqaud they generally say funny things. If i must chose 1 it would be Tali though

All the Krogan are badass and seeing I lost Wrex Grunt was a perfect replacement. More tube bred badassness please.

Zaeed. How can nobody mention Zaeed? Zaeed is cool. Zaeed is awesome. Zaeed says "goddamn" in humourous ways.
If I had to choose only one, it would be Legion. His dialogue was the most interesting and he is so cool.
