Poll: Which Mass Effect 2 character is a "must" have in ME3

If I can only choose one, I want Mordin. Dude was the best part of ME2.
Second place though goes to Garrus, I feel like hes the most stable part of my team.
3rd place to Miranda just because of that ass...
The rest can die in a fire. Especially Jack... oh how I want to shoot Jack.

Unfortunately, Mordin was the only character to die in the final mission on my game, I agree he was the best part but, sadly, he won't appear in my ME3

OT: Tali and Garrus, they've made it this far with Shepard so they may as well see it till the end. Also Thane, I kinda want to know what he does after his 'final' mission.

There is only one character in both Mass Effect 1 and 2 who will be in three.


You are required to recruit her as part of a main mission in 1, while you can skip both Garrus and Wrex. She can't die in 2 because she's not a playable character, and then she becomes the shadow broker.
She was instrumental in retrieving your body.

Bioware has made her the *must* character.

I stared at the screen for ten minutes trying to decide between Legion and Tali, but I eventually went with Tali. I adore her personality... Personally it is the only romance that has soul, a real "connection" I suppose.

Legion was an extremely close second, because there is SO much that BioWare could do with his character, he fails to understand that he may have a collective mind, but he is an individual. I think that would make for some meaty dialogue, Legion slowly finding out that he is an individual, he has personality, there is something more behind him than just those numbers and mathematical equations.

Legion: "There was a hole."
Shepard: "That doesn't explain why you didn't fix it sooner or with something else."
Legion: *Long pause* "No data availible."

Sends chills up my spine EVERY time I hear it. He is so fascinating. But again, Tali's personality overrides all of that, my favorite line. "Thank you... Captain."

Where's the "All of them" option. Well, I guess if I had to leave some, it would probably be Jack, Jacob (but the priiiiiize) and Mordin, and maybe only add him as a non-squad character, but I believe that he will indeed be in the game, if you've watched the ME3 E3 gameplay videos. The only two I could really live without would probably be Jack and Jacob

Just saying, this debating what characters you want and don't want and who's in a relationship with who and why feels pretty damn silly.

I'd love for more of Thane; he was an extrememly well done character and my Shepard went for him in ME2. Alright, so there's the slight problem with the whole 'disease killing him' thing... But that's nothing Mordin couldn't solve, right? Right? Aww.

Though I also wouldn't mind having Kaiden back, as long as he keeps his mouth shut about regulations this time. Garrus is a given, that guy is plain awesome. And so is Mordin, especially when singing. More of that, please. Perhaps there's a mission that can only be completed via the medium of Gilbert and Sullivan?

For me it was a tie between Garrus, Mordin and Legion. All three of them had personalities that I couldn't help but like.

Dude... seriously? Garrus no question. It would literally ruin the game for me if he turns up missing in ME3. Honestly, I prefer Garrus to Shepard. He needs his own spinoff.

idk why all the hate for Jack. She was a jerk, and it worked for her character. id take her. Id also like to keep thane. He was a good fighter and had the best story

It was really in the late 80s early 90s during the Grunge Kurt Cobain years you'd see a lot of her type in movies, comic books, cartoons, and TV shows. So much so it became one of the defining characteristics of the X generation. The angsty spited type with the heart of a broken emo child. Back then we thought that was cool, and since then we've had ENOUGH! -_-
