I'll be playing the Infiltrator class first time (imported ME1&2 character, naturally). Two of my friends both think I'm lame for playing the ME series more like a shooter, as I'm not interested in trading a sniper rifle for the biotech powers, they both prefer playing Vangaurd, but I love pistols and snipers, especially the M-97 Viper auto-sniper and the M-6 Carnifex heavy pistol in ME2 (probably the M-5 Phalanx even more, but don't recall if I downloaded it).

I did a quick search and couldn't find this particular question, so if a very close question has already been asked, please let me know.

Whichever one is Biotics/Tech combined.
I've played that through 2, and would like to import my file.
Although, if I find a certain build to be more fun/better I'll just get an import file from somewhere else and use it in my playthrough.

Soldier, I'm staying true to my main girl.

But I'll end up playing as 4 of the 6 anyway.

Soldier, just because my kickass femShep is soldier. If the sentinel gets that kick ass omni-tool shield from liar of the shadow broker, I'll give it a try.

Vanguard, the class I've played through the whole series as...

Yes, I have tried out some of the other classes but love Vanguard above all...

Vanguard, because, you know. Shotgun and AoE force powers is hilariously cool. Better in ME1, still solid in ME2. Sentinel and Infiltrator are also fantastic - Infiltrator for the invisibility damage buff and sniper bullet time, Sentinel for being actually invulnerable at all times due to how fast you can re-activate the tech armour when it wears off.

Soldier, but I'm going to start on the highest available difficulty this time. I blew through ME2 on all difficulties (except last, name escapes me) with my soldier so I'm going to try hardest right away to see if I can make the experience last and get a better feeling of accomplishment when beating the game.

Infiltrator, because it provides combat for all ranges with the pistol and sniper and for the increase in hacking from ME1 and thats a class i am best suited to since the carnifax and mantis sniper are 1 hit or close kills and more so when upgraded

The Infiltrator, natch. Especially in Mass Effect 2, i couldn't help but feel perverse glee at the ability to make enemies fight among themselves using both the AI Hacking tech ability and the Dominate Biotic i unlocked by making Morinth loyal, all the while ventilating the skulls of the enemies who weren't even looking in my direction.

Mind you the Vanguard was also big fun. Especially when facing Geth. I use the Biotic Charge to send a standard Geth troop flying into a wall, use a Claymore to tear a nearby Geth Destroyer to shreds, and the slow motion lets up just in time for me to see the Geth foot soldier burst apart against the wall.
