Warhammer 40K Online: Dark Millenium. Why isn't this on the list?

@Midnight Crossroads I have to admit, that has me pretty interested.

@Chibz Haven't heard a lot about it, so had forgotten, sorry about that.

Well, since SWTOR isn't gonna be out anytime soon, I'm eagerly awaiting Rift [and loving the beta].
I enjoyed Champions Online, but none of my friends did, which was sad because John Wilkes Booth loses his impact when he's no longer chasing Evil Lincoln through the streets of Millennium City.
Picked up WoW just before the cataclysm expansion, hit 85 last week, and got bored with it.
Guild Wars 2 looks beautiful, but I just couldn't get into the pvp in original GW, so I don't have great hopes for that.
Also, gotta say the list up top is woefully short on options. There are a bazillion MMOs out there, or soon to be. World of Tanks stands foremost in my mind, and it's pretty darned unique in the genre.

@stockvillain So Rift is actually pretty decent? And the image you have painted of John Wilkes Booth chasing Evil Lincoln is quite the hilarious one I'll say that. And I would look into Guild Wars 2 again, they are changing most of their original MMO model, to be honest if they had come out and said "We are going to be keeping our combat and gameplay model from GW1!" I would not be interested in the slightest. And all I can do is apologize for the length of the list, it's only one short of the maximum options available, and these were the only ones I could think of off the top of my head.

@Zamic
Yeah, the Evil Lincoln / John Wilkes Booth dynamic came about when my friend and I were trying to come up with the most accurate character representations we could [which is pretty easy in Champions if you take a little time]. I went with twin flintlocks and Evil Lincoln threw fireballs, I think. Kept yelling "Sic Semper Tyrannis!" while he cackled madly, hurling fire at everything in his path.
No worries about the length, then; I didn't realize they had such a limit on polls here. Kinda explains why threads based on polls tend to be rather narrow in focus, I guess.
I did love Guild Wars when it came out, and I will look into GW2 again. Hopefully they will have revamped it enough to make me fall in love again. I gotta say that the best PvP experience I've ever had in a game was with Warhammer, Age of Reckoning [which cribbed strongly from the goodness that was DAoC, to its credit]. Too bad WAR killed itself by refusing to balance the factions and keeping the Order side OP [yes, I hope the Bright Mages and Archmages die, and I hope they burn in HELL!].
I honestly recommend everyone check out mmorpg.com or something like that. That's where I got my Rift VIP Beta key, and I understand they do promos like that often enough to warrant regular visits.

The Old Republic!!! Massive fan of the KOTOR games, Revan is the greatest character EVER! :D

Also, I recently got back into Champions Online (since it went free-to-play) and am enjoying that too.

Oh and I got back into Dungeons and Dragons Online after reading some of those stories about D&D games.

EDIT: Main character in Champions Online is Scar-Crow and main in DDO is Lucidas Caligan... look me up if you play them! :D

EDIT2: Oh I am also looking forward to The Secret World. Dark Days Are Coming!

I made an incredibly accurate Zombie Colonel Sanders for a halloween Costume Contest in Champions and won! :D

@stockvillan Now that is something it would be worth playing an MMO just to see.
Yeah I was kind of surprised how small the number of poll options you are allowed.
Honestly I'm not sure how the PvP is set for Guild Wars 2, that's one of the areas they haven't quite gotten into yet, the only thing they have announced so far is something called the Mists which sounds like an inter-server open PvP area. The one thing I do know is the innovations they are making to combat is insanely interesting, and if they are able to pull it off, will be quite fun.
Yeah, I need to grab one of those keys before the next beta sequence, I came in too late in this last one to even be worth it to download.

Downloading Champions Online now actually, tried the trial a while back, but hadn't heard that it went Free to Play, sounds like it is worth giving another look eh?

I'm sticking with WoW and LOTRO. The other MMO's I've played(WAR, AoC, Guild Wars(don't consider it an MMO though) and lots of F2P-MMO's) have been fun, but not long-lasting like the previously mentioned.
I would prefer to play just LOTRO though. The player base is much more mature than WoW's, the graphics and atmosphere are beautiful and it can be quite challenging. WoW is more fun however, but I have gotten a bit tired of Cataclysm(much faster than I thought I would!).

Might give SWTOR a chance, but I've never been a Star Wars fan to be honest.

Probably will try out Guild Wars 2, since I absofuckinlutely refuse to pay a monthly fee for a game I will likely lose interest in within a few months.

Champions Online is just so much mindless fun. I mean, tell me another mmo where you can make a flying T-rex. It's worth downloading for free just to go through the customization.

Other than that I'd say that I'm interested in Old Republic, 'cause I've got a lot of BioWare games as of late and I like what I've seen.

From what everyone has said, going to attempt to try Champions Online, but the damn thing crashes on me before I can fully start it up.

I dearly hope SWTOR will be good. I don't mind it not being incredibly awesome, I just *badly* need a decent Star Wars game. It's been way too long.

Apart from that only Cataclysm interests me, though so far it hasn't caught my attention as much as the other expansions. After more than 5 years of WoW, I think I've seen what there is to be seen in that game. For now anyway.
