Poll: Which movie looks better to you? Straw Dogs, Drive, Contagion, or Warrior?

I really want to see drive. I had a friend who went to the Cannes Film Festival and said there is nothing like it and will blow you away. Warrior might be good but it just seems like another cookie cutter sports movie.

Of those 4, I'm probably most excited for Straw Dogs. Compared to the other 3, it wasn't hard to pick; I agree with you about warrior, contagion just looked stupid, and drive just reminded me of a Fast and Furious clone.

Not in those 4, I can't wait to see Real Steel. That movie looks like it'll be pretty good.

I'm excited for Drive and I don't really care for the other movies.

I'm looking forward to Warrior. There's a tremendous amount of talent there. Drive looks really good too. Contagion has a lot of talent, but I've heard that it falls completely flat. I couldn't care less about Straw Dogs. The old one is perfectly fine, and it doesn't look like they've changed much at all (except for adding Alexander Skarsgaard without a shirt to draw in the True Blood fangirls). Part of why I really enjoyed the remake of Fright Night is because it was incredibly different from the original, so it was easy to judge on its own merits.

None of the above. Why all the hype for drive? It looks alright, but there's only so far a regular action movie can go. I'm not seeing a lot of envelope pushing stuff, and that's part of what makes Straw Dogs depressing. It's like hollywood can't make any new, high-quality movies, and now just copies old ones. Not that everything's horrible, just not at the moment, which is normal around this time of year.

The reason drive is getting so much hype is that it is supposedly and action movie that knows how to pace it self and set up the action so that it completely blows you away. The cast is really good plus it is nice to see ryan gosling survived the abomination that was The Notebook. Plus it won a bunch of europeon film awards. I also welcome any movie that can make sure that artistic piece of shit Tree of Life does not win best picture

Haha oh god, Fast and the Furious? Drive is an arthouse genre flick
