Artillery Regiment, I don't really like the idea of being shot at so artillery is for me. Get to avoid bullets and still get to fire massive guns.

If I was forced into it(Like I've been pushed for the last, oh 10 years) I'd go with Army but I could give a damn. I respect them and I'm grateful but I don't love my country enough to justify putting my life on the line for it.

I think I'd dig the zone trooper corps, or maybe the SPARTANS; or push come to shove, the bear cavalry or the third eschelon...or Hell, even the Spectres.

Wait, do you mean real world armed forces?

I'd go for dishonorable discharge, naturally. The army (note: I mean armies in general) can have my life when they do something worthwhile.

Hey guys, finally decided to sign up after months of forum stalking.

Anyway, I signed up for the army here, but if I were in the US I think I would join the navy. or be a helicopter pilot in the army. Blackhawks would be soo much fun...Actually, now I think about it, there's a crapload of careers that would be interesting (Going from the ADF jobs, sure other countries are similar).

Marines. Of course, I already joined them, but it wasn't an option.

Seriously, you left out the best ones?

hehe i'm in the airforce and its funny to me the main reason other people are saying they want to be in the army is cause they want to be on the front lines. i would like to see them on the front lines of actual combat, you all would freeze then shit yourselves

This watch was on your daddy's wrist when he was shot down over VarthasIV he was captured put in a Grongon prison camp... he new, that if the Groos ever saw the watch, it'd be confiscated, taken away. The way your dad looked at it this watch was your birthright he'd be damned if any greasy six-armed Vart was gonna put his hands on your birthright. So he hid it.

Vorton bless our brave Spaceforce

Airforce, I love flying single and dual engine GA aircraft now, I can only imagine how badass it would be to fly aircraft that can out-preform those airplanes by about 300%, haha.

You forgot the Marines, National Guard, and Coast Guard.
British here. we dont have all them and most of them fall under one of the branches anyway
Well, the coast guard is actually an Emergency Service. And border control/customs, is, I think part of the police...

Aaaanyhoo. I did nearly join the army when I was 18, as a musician, and again last year. But so far, I've always found another job to do instead, that doesn't involve getting shouted at quite so much, or having to pratice nine hours a day... (it's an exaggeration, my friend tells me!)
