Skyrim. What the hell else would I pick?

Also, I thought we were on Assassin's Creed 4?

Ass Creed 1
Ass Creed 2
Ass Creed BroHood
Ass Creed Revelations

Yep, 4.
It doesn't really work like that though. Look at Resident Evil, Fallout and COD and how the games splinter into sub-sections under the 'numbered' games.

Assassin's Creed 3 will most likely be in 2 years and have a new protagonist.

And a bit of MW3, but black ops was the last straw for me, so i'm not expecting much.
I think Black ops was the last straw for a lot of people. I really want MW3 to be great and I'm sure the campaign will be, but as for the multiplayer I'm not getting my hopes up for it to be balanced.

You missed out Battlefield 3, by the way.

That's my choice.

splitting hairs, but BF3 comes out at the end of October. TC was probably trying to narrow it down to the month of November.

But I included it in my post anyways ^_^ cheers

I really want to say Skyrim, I really do, but I love Assassin's Creed so I'm going with that.

Skyrim is a close second though, with Uncharted 3 going right behind that.

With an October 9th birthday, I'll snag MW3 and Battlefield 3, probably buy Elder Scrolls 5 and Halo CEA/Saints Row 3 myself (not to sure about those last two), and then sweep up in Christmas. It's not fair that they're smacking every game into November! At least I have Gears 3 to hold into October before Battlefield 3.

Saints Row 3. Because I enjoyed the second one. Also given Bethesda's track record with buggy releases, and having heard that Skyrim will have a new engine. I'd like to get excited but with how much New Vegas crashed, I really don't want to beta test the next TES. I'll have to wait until they've patched it a few times.

No. Assassins Creed are doing the whole final fantasy thing where FF X-2 is not FF XI. It's like this:

Screed 1
Screed 2
Screed 2.1 Bro Ho
Screed 2.2 Rev
Screed 3 (TBA)

EDIT: If you want to give each game a number we're more like up to 6 by the way, due to hand held titles.

Bonus Round Edit: OT: Assassins Creed, I have my pre-order down. I also am super looking forward to SRt3[sup]rd[/sup].

I'll be waiting for the GotY for TotES, so it's more like "Most anticipated purchase of January 2013".

None of these.
The best November title to me will be Skyward Sword
i don't see the appeal of a new LoZ, i bet you'll get the boomerang, hook-shot and some sort of instrument leading toward the master sword and triforce of courage.
there will be no twists, no serious character death.
The combat hasn't advanced since Wind waker. the art style is a step up from twilight at least.

the lore is boring and the gameplay is old. where is the appeal?

Zelda games are pristine in their gameplay to me. That they do much of the same things over an over isn't a criticism, because the series is about slightly tweaking and polishing what is there. So I expect the usual: great dungeon design, fun boss fights, and many small side quests. All this with a puzzle element to it and great visuals.

And you shall not disparage the hookshot. That's my favorite game weapon/tool ever.

For the sole fact that Skyward Sword doesn't have an official release date, and most of the series here I either don't care for (Halo), or I haven't played through the previous installments yet (everything else lol), I threw my vote to Minecraft since it felt unloved. I kinda wanted to go with MW3, but I have a feeling its going to disappoint me with ANOTHER cliffhanger Q.Q (since i don't give a flying leap about multiplayer, cause a: I don't care about ANY online multiplayer, which is the only reason TOR didn't get my vote, and b: COD's multiplayer is always the same in each game anyway)
According to this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/misc/9032-Most-Anticipated-Games-of-2011.16], Skyward Sword's release date is November 18.

I've been waiting for TES V since Shivering Isles. Fallout 3 distracted me for a while but the whole time I was sniping super mutants in the head I just wanted to be slashing them down with a magic sword.

Skyrim and Assassin's Creed are the ones I'm actually planning to buy. If we talk about just renting or playing through at a friend's house, I guess I'd be willing to try Saints Row and Uncharted. And of course, my younger brother will buy CoD and Halo.

Lol, I don't know what's worse. Seeing over 50% of the votes being skyrim or the fact that I knew that over half of the votes would be skyrim before I even checked the results.

The sword combat is new. It's basically Wii sports dueling, you have to cut with the remote along the unshielded axis of the mob your trying to kill, that was the best part of preview back when it was announced. Everything else about it is the same as ever but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
