Poll: Which one of these ps2 games should I buy?

I think the success of Psychonauts in this poll is largly influenced by Yahtzee fans, and although I liked it a lot I found Metal Gear Solid 3 (you have to buy subsistence if you've only played 4) to be a superior game in almost all regards. If you end up buying Psychonauts and liking it, I'd highly reccomend Okami aswell.

God of War 2 or MGS 3. God of War 2 has better graphics, adds more weapons, monsters, bigger levels, bigger and more badass boss monsters. The boss monsters come more often too. And there are more of the react-push button sequences.

And MGS3? Well, gameplay is top notch. You basically move around in a third-person view, and aim in first-person. That game was awesome. You could kill enemies by shooting some things in the tree. You had to escape from jail with a spoon. You have to cure yourself by using different bandages etc in different places. One of the, if not THE, most awesome games I've seen come out.

Definitely buy it.

I completely agree with that except MGS2- as I said, the successor is better, mon.

Yeah I agree, it is widely considered to be better than it's predecessor. Also does Okami not get a look in?

I'd recommend deus ex, if you can find it. It's not the best looking game (most of the characters had a really dated matrix feel to them even when it came out) but it's certainly one of the finest.

The depth of play and options it give you to tackle the levels it lays out leave a lot of other games feeling decidedly linear. The ps2 version's supposed to be pretty good, from what I hear.

Shadows of the colossus is also excellent, as are ico, mgs3 and mgs2. Mgs3 is the better of the two by far though.

Also, I hear only good things about psychonauts, but haven't got round to playing it yet.

God of War 1/2, The Suffering 1/2, Psychonauts, Okami and MGS are all excellent titles with their own merits. I suppose it just depends what you're in the mood for be it mindless violence, challenging espionage or just plain fun.

Then again you could probably find them all in a bargain bin somewhere and just play them all.

Okay, people might not agree with me but in my opinion, i think you should buy the Shadow of Colossus.

Well this is based on personal preference, but if you want some simple fun to stave you off until you get your 360 back I would suggest a combination of both the God of War games and Psychonauts. Since it took me less then two days to beat the second God of War I doubt you'd be occupied by all three for more then a week or two.

huh, surprisingly i have most of these, u forgot devil may cry 3, i have like 40+ hours on that and i still cant perfect the stupid jump cancel!!! oh well, God of war 2 or Shadow of the colossus.

You can stop voting, I bought MGS3. It turns out that the crummy shop here only had MGS3 from the games I picked. I'm enjoying it so far and I've gotten to the part where you fight The Fear.

Dang, and I voted for Shadow of the Colossus too. >.< It's my recommendation if you finish MGS3 and your 360 is still broked. Nothing quite beats taking down something the size of a block of flats. With a sword.

So many good choices. I'd be hard pushed between the God Of War or Sly games. Botyh are equally good for differnt reasons.
But, gun to my head, I'd side with Kratos.
