Hmmm, well I know everyone is going to pick EA and Activision, those two kinda go without saying, and there'd be little actual contribution just taking the easy way out, even if they are my least favorite publishers.
So for the sake of making the first post interesting and expressing an opinion I have that is very unpopular, I'm going to go with the odd choice.

Hmmmm... This is a bit tricky. I don't like a lot of publishers, so it's really hard to narrow it down to one. Instead, I'll list three. Also, this list is more of a "What have you done for me lately", except Sega. In my book, Sega gets a free pass due to the Dreamcast being so amazing.
1. Nintendo
I have not enjoyed Nintendo since the N64 days, and now with the Wii, they seem to be more interested in stock piling their system with expensive shovelware games that take advantage of clueless parents and the elderly. They rehash the same IPs over and over again for their "big projects" and produce crap the rest of the time. Hell, most of their crap is filled with recognizable IPs and are leaching off the weak and misinformed.
2. Activision Blizzard
I am currently on a boycott against Activision Blizzard that started after the purchase of Prototype. Although I know it is pointless (I don't care), but I refuse to let them see one dime from me. Their evil is well known and it is unnecessary to go over the many reasons. With that aside, their games have no appeal to me. Activision continues to put out hurried up slop that seem to get worse and worse in quality. Their business is catered to a wretched fan base that stereotypes what is wrong with gaming i.e. old xbox commercials. As far as Blizzard is concerned, I never have and never will be interested in their games.

After the recent multiple server bullshit in Dark Souls and the whole special edition bait and switch at the last moment (it seriously ruins the online completely for most people, 90~% of the Demon's Souls to be exact), I am going to say Bandai Namco for now
Others that come to mind are EA, Activision and Capcom for obvious reasons. Blizzard (seriously, could you please find some time for Warcraft 4 already). Nintendo I don't hate quite as much but I want to see the damn price of the that Wii U controller (I also remember having to buy the Wii controller in 2 parts basically).

No wait I forgot about the whole Origin crap, EA is the pick for me. I REFUSE to have Origin on my PC. If they can't have the amount of content on their store like Steam alongside it's price drops and sales, it will never be on my computer.urilukin said:

EA. EA is on my 'never buy' list. I don't care if they make a game that is proclaimed to cure cancer I still wouldn't buy it. Their buisness strategy is simply 'buy out other game makers to profit from their work' Their DRM is so invasive it might as well count as a literal COMPUTER VIRUS, and they are dishonest and underhanded about it; it seems less like they are making games and more like they are making packages to hide their VIRUSES in. And they have added a clause that says you can't sue them for any reason in their TOS, which may mean that if they put in a virus that fries everybody's computers, they have an extra shield to protect them from being sued for it. (hopefully the judges will declare that clause to be illegal)
EA will not get a penny out of me, and I hope more gamers will realize that we don't need EA to play good games and stop handing them money.

I dislike Ubisoft for fucking up the Tom Clancy games (Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell), their draconian DRM, their shitty public relations and customer support, their lack of support for games post-launch, and UPlay.
Activision and EA don't hold a candle to Ubisoft's assholeishness. They are the king of dicks.
