Poll: Which Race in GW2 is the Fan Favorite?

The problem with GW is that there aren't too many other races that aren't evil. My husband wanted to be able to play as the Tengu, but really...what else is there?

The Quaggans, the Hylek, the Kodan, the Grawl, the Ogres... annnd that's all I got off the top of my head. I know there's more.

...did you read any of the links? The only 2 listed that're explicitly "evil" are the Jotun and the Krait.

I didn't, but I've played enough GW1 to know that I've never run into any friendly jotun, krait, etc, unless it was for a quest.

They all look rather lame to me. But if I had to choose I'd go for Norn I guess.

I read the lore on the races, and... I kind of like them all. I guess I'll go with the Asura now since they are a race of mad scientists and (previously) subterranean monster gnomes, what's not awesome about that?

Do I even have to write anything because you said exactly why I love Asura.

Asura technically aren't evil, just have a greed for science. Charr aren't technically evil, but have a greed for war. Humans aren't evil, their just super unlucky and as such do whatever to survive. Sylvari aren't evil because their better. Norn are the stereotypical hero, but their greed is for battle and hunting. Technically, no race is evil, just flawed by the constructs of society, and that is why their all so different as well.
